In my County the Superintendent just announced the kids & staff have to wear masks in school again. We do not have a mask mandate in our state. Of course this comes right after Memaw Ivey's rude ass comments about unvaxxed Alabamians are not "regular folks." And one person who commented under the FB post said and of course this comes the day before the last day for parents to enroll their kids in virtual school, and said it takes more than one day to get enrolled.
However after his announcement there was a protest outside his office. Parents are pissed! We will see how this goes, but I will be surprised if he backs down.
One parent protesting said on the news that all her kids now have breathing problems from last school years wearing masks and she will not be putting a mask on her kids again. Reporter asked her if she was going to send her kids to school without masks, and she said she will be unenrolling them from school.
I also wanted to add that I feel like God will come against these mask mandates. If you protest and pray, what you want will happen no matter what the superintendent says. People are fed up with these masks too
