This is crap. As a social worker, I can tell you that counties have gotten millions of dollars for rent help for people, but it hasn't been needed. In my county, we got 7 million dollars and about $20, 000 has been used. People got stimulus, child tax credits, tax returns and unemployment equal to their regular pay. What a waste of tax payer money. And what happens to this unused money? It probably gets returned and diverted into other pots that was probably planned all along.
There are those who have truly struggled and there are those who have taken advantage.
God, please bless this mess!
Anyone who hasn't payed rent during this thing deserves to be thrown out on there ass. Evictions will follow these people for decades.
OR, to put it differently, leaves the property owners with a choice to save their hard earned investment property.

You prolly won't be evicted if you paid your rent.
So GME to the moon... and they’re going into hiding for when everything comes unglued?
CA has extended it.
Does anyone have any sources of how big a problem this is nationally? How quickly are we going to see the effects on the market?
I've also been wondering this. Would like to sell high, then buy low. Hahaha! I've never had luck or timing.
Also, those assholes were able to vote themselves a raise. Go figure.
