Why have I seen about ten posts on here, patriots, and pol about this guy boning his mom? Why the heck would I care? Why is this everywhere?
I think it makes it’s rounds because it supports what we have been saying for a long time, transgenders suffer from a neglected mental illness that is dangerous to us all.
Pfft, I can't believe anyone gives that story one second of their attention.
It's disheartening to see it posted here so often.
He is sort of an internet phenomenon dating back to the aughts, so a lot of people in a lot of different circles either follow his story (he is what is known as a 'lolcow' someone whose online or real life antics are so bizarre or self destructive that one can sustainably derive 'lolz' from them) or know about him tangentially. He has been around so long his wiki (the cwciki) is a bit of a rabbit hole.
I wouldn't call it a win as far as that goes though.

Beware. That rabbit hole has NO bottom. There is a guy out there trying to make a comprehensive documentary of that persons life and I think they are 50+ hours in at this point.
