Give his family more time with him so he can raise his children and continue to be a good husband and bless the world with his unique personality. When I first got on (late last year) I was berrated for suggesting he was on our side. Since he was not a Q follower, was a traitor and wasn't worth a thing.

Yep. He’s getting titanium bars inserted behind his rib cage and in front of his heart. They rotate the bars once “installed” thus pushing his rib cage out a little to give his heart more “room” to function.
Looks like pectus excavatum to me. My son had that deformity to his chest but most of the time, like in our case, no surgery is needed. Most of the time it's not life threatening. His even looks fairly normal from the outside which is what she(Dr) was talking about but apparently the inside was much worse.
It can take a turn for the worse as you get older which is what happened to Crowder and my best friend. Most people have it corrected in their youth so there aren’t a lot of doctors out there who are used to performing the surgery on adults. Or at least there weren’t 10 years ago when my friend had the surgery. The recovery time is very slow and painful.
Some words of encouragement for Steven Crowder. A family friend lived 82 1/2 years with the same condition. He had a large hole in his chest, never corrected, and used to allow us children to put our fists into it. His life otherwise was completely normal, although he didn't do all the physical exertion Steven does.
Congratulations on your twins, Steven. What a blessing children are. I pray that you heal soon and are able to enjoy your expanded family for many, many years. We will be watching for your return. We love you!

LwC does take 5 weeks off in the summer and 5 weeks in the winter every year to make content and relax a little just this year was surgery instead.
