Chain of custody can easily be verified with digital signatures. If the data is indeed from the Space Force / captured by white hats then I'm sure they have that locked down.
Let them give it a go. While I admit the Denis Montgomery angle is suspect, Mike's evidence looks strong and there is a heck of a lot of supporting evidence that machines were on line and hackable. Also, I think they made those statements before the CMz dominion whistleblower show...we shall see
