The 5th Amendment protects you from self-incrimination (which is criminal law). This is a civil case so there exists no such protection within the 5th Amendment
Only trying to avoid idiots from giving OP a hard time... But I have to disagree with you on that... What is wrong with someone other than OP doing a little digging for themselves? After all, isn't this a research board? Shouldn't we check sources for ourselves so that when we disseminate the information we KNOW what we're saying is solid and back upable? Yes we have some awesome pedes in here but sometimes I think we become complacent with the information we're "given". Doesn't hurt to make sure. Peace fren... WWG1WGA
Spez: This is actually the sauce; includes the order itself:

Spez 2: For some reason the site doesn't want to create a hyperlink to it, no idea why.
the author of the article, and whoever else is named in the suit have to sit down in front of camera and on the record and answer questions from veritas lawyer.
they will be held accountable for once in their life. finally, these vermin will have to give straight honest answers on the record. they must be ready to kill themselves with panic, because they know they are going to be torn to shreds.
this is the extremely unusual, and the only way its made it this far must be due to extremely compelling evidence that veritas has. This lawsuit has the potential to break the back of the NYT.
A court of New York ruled in favor of a Conservative to let this case continue? Something fishy is in the water. I'm thinking the Left is a little smarter than that and there will be delays, stays, appeals, continuances and other tactics to slow down the deposition process. I bet when the "grand finale or golden nugget" is about to be reveled the Supreme Court of NY will do something to withhold any information O'Keefe has gathered.
O'keefe keeps banging the drum that this is a great day or he will upend the apple cart of whomever he is suing. Sure his MO falls in with Journalism 101 teachings, but the average American who watches him soon gets bored with his rhetoric. I know law suits are a long drawn out affair, but to keep hyping that a minor victory in an ongoing law suit is "the greatest thing since Ali's victory over Frasier" gets a little tiresome. I hope O'Keefe wins, but he needs to cool his jets on the pumping up of little victories.
What do you think will come of him being granted these depositions? Can't these people just plead the 5th and pay their fine?

Yay - PV!
Fuckyou - NYT!
Project Veritas should just take over the DOJ. Great work PV.
Shit like this is what gives me hope.
Talking about the times, were they the ones who wrote that article about an alliance of CEO's and tech companies to get Trump out of office?
I'm looking for that article for people.
Mixed emotions on this.
