We know MANY people who have been using IVERMECTIN for animals for decades...as well as FOR THEMSELVES SINCE COVID HIT....a chemist FREN of ours used it (ALONG WITH ZINC AND VIT D3 and VIT C... when becoming symptomatic with COVID....within 4 hours, all symptoms were suppressed....i.e.: WELL AGAIN...take note and realize that ALL THE VAX HYPE-MANDATE lingo is all about BILLIOLN$ being made by govt. contracts, etc. FOR THE BIG PHARMA and their ELITIST POLITICIANS who are also getting wealthy pushing this "jab agenda."
Key ingredient in pet heartworm meds too... Why all the fear promotion for human use? Haven't these "controversial" medicines been in use for several decades?
Absurd that 500 days after "two weeks to slow the spread" every claim of HCQ, Ivermectin, and other inexpensive therapeutics get squelched, and immediately debooonked
Every veterinary medicine that might go to a food animal has that warning in case the meat/eggs/milk has the medicine in it. People might be allergic or have an interaction with their own meds.
I have no idea, but apparently the manufacturer thinks that it might somehow affect the meat OR get passed along to humans who eat the meat. That's just what I'm taking from that label.
I once read an interesting historical piece that explained why the French and other European countries ate horse while the English tend not to. It goes back to the Crusades, when all societies ate horsemeat. But in the Crusades, the English were short on horses and the Pope at that time admonished them to NOT eat horsemeat, but to use their horses for battle and military purposes.
This evolved into a cultural distaste for horsemeat among the English and it extended into the New World and the colonies that became America.
I'd have to hunt to find the story again, but I'm sure you could find it with a diligent search.
Probably some lawyer's idea of a liability issue. Ivermectin is also given to cattle.
I'll also note that ivermectin is being used to treat cancer in PEOPLE.
I believe it’s this. There are all kinds of warnings about meat and egg withdrawal for medicines and many of them are the same things (like antibiotics) humans take
From what I have learned from reading about Ivermectin, it is sort of like a wonder drug, just like aspirine. It has all kinds of uses outside of its originally intended use.
I think since both humans and horses are mammals, you would be fine consuming it, however, and I can not stress this enough:
Make sure you find the right dosage. Is it specified per kg (for horses)? Could one just take your own weight and get your dose that way? Look up the toxicity of Ivermectin. Make sure you do not overdose on it.
Please, make sure you inform yourself of the correct dosage.
That basically means that if you are going to eat your horse don't give it ivermectin. I was reading some stories about the Peace Corps and one of the stories was in Europe and there was a big wedding celebration so they were going to slaughter a horse for the occasion. First I had ever heard of that but it is probably analogous to people in different countries eating dogs, bugs, etc. Not my cup of tea but...
It might have something to do with the dosage. Horses need a lot more than a human does. The company is probably covering their ass, as you know full-well some idiot out there will try to consume the entire amount all at once, get violently sick or something, then try to sue to company because they were an idiot.
You have to have some brains to know what dosage you should take and how often, as it's based on your weight.
Amazon and Chewy have it. Cheaper on Chewy.com if you order enough items for free shipping. I added it to a pet food order a few days ago ($4.99 per box/tube).

I loved that sick video!
But you might be, if Alex Jones is your neighbor and hungry then watch your ass.
It's saying do not use in horses THAT ARE INTENDED for human consumption. Some people (the French most notably) eat horsemeat.
Why? Ivermectin is used for all sort of things. Does it change the flavor?

Ah that makes sense.

That and we tend to see horses as pets, one of the reasons Westerners don't eat dogs either.

If you eat a medicated animal you have no control over how much medication you are ingesting.

I compared the standard dose and yes the amount per weight is the same whether it is human or horse.
This product has disappeared from our local Tractor Supply
Try valley vet supply online or Jeffers
Good info- thanks
Tried that- nowhere available within hours
Do not use in horses that are meant to be turned into chopped meat.
Lawyers, and horses.....the horses requested this and suggest you eat more chicken and beef.
It's for people who eat horse meat.

Wonder if they use the old Grey Mare who ain't what she used to be. 🎶
So what!

BTW: I'm referring to the part that says, "Not for use in humans."
Maybe it’s saying not to give horses people pills
Where can you buy it online, it seems many places have really increased their prices
