Here you go, a good starting point. A lot more herbs that are anti-stuff of course, some stronger than others, some easier to procure, some that may not agree with your / family’s stomach, etc.
There are mainly a few forms to consider…
Whole food (the actual roots/rhizome/flower/nut/berry/leaves/etc.). No processing, organic, etc. you can use this to cook, make teas, chew on, xyz. This is always good to do… Spice up your cooking!
Raw vs Cooked is a big difference as well. For example. Garlic… the compounds that’ll kill a bunch of stuff is most available when raw (it burns in your mouth). Chew on a clove of Garlic WITH oil of your choice olive oil, coconut oil. This will ensure you don’t burn your mouth or it’ll lessen the sensation. Chewing is very important it releases the Alliin. Go slow … or hey, make Chimichurri sauce; let me know if you want the recipe ;)
Tincture extract. This is medicinal territory… potent and powerful. Careful with dosing.
Essential Oil. Similar to tincture but an even more potent form… mainly the oils only. Very strong and must also be from a good source, organic/wild.
Homeopathic. Instead of maximum potently, this is about dilution. Long story to get into here, so good to research further.
Godspeed.
Thanks for that very informative
Great info as always Basil :) thank you!
Excellent, thank you. I tried chewing a garlic clove (because my son in law told me about it), it really burned my mouth, but he said he no problem. He also takes apple cider vinegar straight, so there's that.
Crushed garlic and sesame oil is a nice dipping sauce. Try it! I usually eat it with hotpot.
I will try it. I really like both those things.
Hah. Try chewing a small clove of garlic, or do half first with 1 tbps of olive oil. The oil make a huge difference! Also very healing for the gut. You can try coconut oil as we (stay away from Canola oil / vegetable oil).
I find it’s best for me on an empty stomach, so if there is any issues with gas it will be lessened.
I also find that my body heats up as well…you’ll feel ‘hot’; it’s like an energy tonic.
Thank you! I'll try it. I have plenty of coconut oil. I ingest it, use on my skin and mix it in my morning coffee.
I got halfway thru, saw “or hey, make Chimichurri sauce” and thought it’s gotta be our resident chef u/basilpesto, scrolled up and hoila! You make me salivate with your creations!! When’s dinner?
Always my pleasure, but apologies o’Berserker of the Win Board, but dinner will have to be served a tad bit late today…
As you see, I spent a good amount of time early this morning sailing the Fijian archipelago in search for a spot with good soil, earthy, fresh breeze, with a view of the surrounding Pacific. Took me about an hour to dig a bowl shaped hole, line the bottom with some rocks (maybe volcanic), and start a nice roaring fire fueled by indigenous wood from the surrounding area.
As I was wrapping cuts of fish, goat, pork and fowl marinated with coconut cream, garlic, onions, sweet limes and zesty herbs freshly plucked from the forest… a bright flash caught my eye, as I looked out I saw a curious craft - not so dissimilar to the bowl I just dug - hovering above a dark spot in the ocean. Quite odd, but these meats aren’t going to wrapped themselves…
Palm and banana leaves always does the trick. I did find some screw pine as well! That’ll do nicely with the taro dessert.
Cassava root, sweet potatoes, turnips, Dalo… It all goes into the earthen oven, the wood now embers.
It’s only been an hour since I’ve covered up the treasure. I’m sitting back, sipping on fresh coconut water, the first cricket calls are running out… the craft is still out there, but the ocean water underneath seem to be… boiling. Maybe a regeneration-fueling station?
Either way, in 3 or so hours… we’ll feast together.
You made my day Brother 💕😎 Use your advanced hemi syncing skills to do a one man CE5 Contact and you won’t have to dine alone? As long as you stay off the menu... Speaking of which that Fijian archipelago is known for a species of human called homo floresiensis; they’re small so you can probably feed a small group setting, however yeah-they’re cannibals. So without ruining your feast all together I suspect you have some packing to do? Cheers
