It’s bad enough that kids are exposed to dangerous untruths across their favorite social media apps like Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. An equally large problem is that, while stuck at home during the pandemic, many students had their days of virtual schooling interrupted by screaming parents, who themselves had fallen deep into the internet’s darkest rabbit holes.
See, that's the thing about "programming". To convince them of lies you must keep them isolated from the truth at all times. If they ever see something that confirms what they instinctually know to be truth years of work could fall apart. You need the lies to be rock solid enough that you begin circular logic that will keep an adult asleep. The biggest problem for programmers is that the mind of a child is so open to anything that you can convince them magic is real. That openness means lies can enter and exit very fast unlike in adults who have usually become settled in their delusions.
They want the delusion firmly in place before the adult mind sets in. If they fail to achieve this the child will grow up without the desired programming and likely be capable of independent thought. You got to get 'em young, you see.
