How many of you can really keep brushing it off saying, you should have been involved in U.S. manufacturing only? You do realize that we don't manufacture crap here anymore, right? There is a chip shortage most likely brought on by China flexing but, how ridiculous is it that we are to the point where something that important can bring whole sectors to their knees in the United States and the rest of the world?
It is a lesson that we are all talking about but where is the correction? At this point, it takes a grant to start up competing business here in the states to overcome this supply issue but it also takes actual tariffs on goods imported into the U.S. and all of that was delayed.
How many of you work for yourselves? How many of you work for a small business with less than 50 or even 100 employees where you are actually emotionally and financially invested? What I am seeing is people that can just go and say, "Oh well, I'll just let them fire me and coast for a while..."
