I feel like Trump / Biden is a macrocosm of the crisis of fatherhood in American families. Trump is like an absentee father while Biden is like the abusive step-father. So many guys father children but then abandon the wife and kids to some abusive live-in boyfriend. We're like those abandoned kids wanting our real dad to come back.

Yes, Presidents do still get intel briefings after leaving the White House. They also retain USSS protection, and they also are still forbidden (highly advised against) from driving a car by USSS.
