Yes but when you live in a state that your employer can fire you for whatever reason they want to, what can you do? Not much but look for another job.
You can still file for unemployment. I've been fired for bullshit reasons (things I didn't do) from 2 places. Both times I collected unemployment because while Ohio is an "at-will" state, and they can fire me for wearing the wrong color of nail polish, they still have to pay unemployment benefits if I can show that I didn't get fired for cause (breaking policy or doing something obviously wrong). Both times the employer tried to fight my application but I won. And in this climate, you're better off getting fired than quitting because later I really believe we're going to see massive repercussions for them firing people for refusing the jab. If you haven't already lost your job, be sure to submit a religious exemption in writing before they fire you - that should sweeten the pot later for the 1st Amendment violations. Just my opinion, but I've been reading a lot about this lately.
I was fired one time, and they had my manager show up at the employment office to lie about me. "He treats customers badly." "I was there three whole years." "You don't get unemployment, and there's no appeal. You can leave now."
I reject that. Could they fire you for your religious beliefs or because of you race? No. And I've seen too many lawyers say it's not true.
Yeah but you know as well as I do they won’t say that’s why they fired you. I don’t even think they have to tell you why, if they want you gone they fire you. I would think usually they will find some reason to fire you if they want you gone. Now it’s mandating the vaxx. Even though our state has said businesses & schools can’t require you to show proof of this vaxx to go into businesses or schools. But my friend is having this issue with her work right now, and I think they will get away with it because they have big contracts with the military. They said if they aren’t vaxxed by a certain date their ID’s will be denied entry to the job site. And we know they are mandating the vaxx on the military. I told her to try and get a religious exemption but she said she’s not really religious, I said they don’t have to know that. She can get help with writing the form, her sister is religious and will help her because she doesn’t want her sister to get the shot either, she thinks like we do here.
This might help her. https://greatawakening.win/p/13zMe5K5Ue/for-those-wanting-to-get-a-relig/c/
Thank you, I just finished watching the video. Apparently the Pfizer vaxx also has a parasite in it...

Here's a link that the OP of the above post also shared this article on what's in the vaccines, scroll down to the part it says "Are There Parasites in the Pfizer "Vaccines"?"

I am a religious person, and I am not Anti-Vaxx. However, I will be using a religious exemption for the military based on the fact that we have been lied to from day one about this pandemic and the jab from a government that has shown nothing but contempt for my Christian Faith. We know there are alternative treatments which were kept from us so that they could pass the EUA, and the government keeps moving the goal posts. First we just needed to lock down for a couple weeks to flatten the curve. Then once the vaccine came out we would all be fine if we got fully vaccinated. Now we are told the vaccine is not 100% effective and can still catch and transmit the virus. It has all been lies from day one, and I know the devil can only use lies and deceit against me. I admit am scared, but I have never felt more convicted about something in my adult life. I will die on this hill, and God will protect me. I will be using the book of Romans chapter 14 which is about sins of the conscience.
Romans 14:13-14 Therefore let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.
Romans 14:22-23 So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.
Will the military except a religious exemption? I ask because my son is NG, and isn't getting the shot or flu shot no matter what they do to him for not getting them. I'm grateful that he is making a stand. Though he had drill this past weekend and he said they didn't even mention the vaxx mandate at all. So fingers crossed that some commanders aren't enforcing it, I don't know, I'm glad they didn't say anything about it. And also because of my friend I was talking about, because I bet they will use the military contracts as an excuse of why they have to mandate it. I think she believes in God but she doesn't go to church like her sister does. I met this friend because I have been friends with her sister for a long time. They are both good people. She probably won't try to use the religious exemption because she will feel guilty about it. Just like she wouldn't try to get a fake card either. She doesn't ever lie about anything, and she straight shoots what she wants to say, whether you like it or not, lol. She tells people if you don't like the fact I'm not wearing a mask in my office then don't come in here, lol. I've been sending her anything & everything I can find or come across so that she is well informed if she tries to fight it. Told her do not quit, make them fire you. Get other like minded employees and find a lawyer together. They only have about 3 weeks left before their deadline.
It doesn't matter what the "lawyers say." The law in NC (as I was taught in college) says that "an employer can fire you for a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all." That's an exact quote from class.
It doesn't matter what you were taught in class ...
The law says it, and the law acts that way. So that's what it is. And my teacher was also a practicing attorney.
So yes, if they actually said that they were firing you because of your race, you might be able to sue for damages based on racism, but not on the fact that you were fired. You would still be out of a job, and suing wouldn't change that.
So your rejecting that doesn't change the fact that in NC you actually can be fired for anything, and it will stand.
