FYI: Australian states have given police the power to search anyone for any reason to enforce their coronasniffles mandates that include not driving in a car with anyone that you don't live with (i.e. the cops will demand you prove you are married to your wife who is sitting in the passenger seat) and that you aren't allowed to drive further than 3 miles from your home.
Police will fracture your skull against a brick wall and when you cry out, "Fuck!" they will arrest you for bad language.
If cops start shit like this on a wide scale here in the USA it wouldn't be a few weeks and they would be gunned down in the streets by mobs of well armed men defending their women. This woman has a brother, a father, a husband, etc. Cops here know there are limits to what they can get away with.
The only difference between AU and USA is it will take a little longer because they have fewer guns. Give it another few weeks of this and the violence will start. Its inevitable. Its the very nature of human beings. If you attack and abuse them long enough they will eventually fight back.
My question is are they actually? It was a voluntary buy back and they passed a law outlawing owning them. Did they have a database that kept track of what citizens would become criminals after refusing to turn them in? If not then why even go along with the buy back?

If she had a gun in that car, one of the cop's family would be very sad. The other would be rethinking life decisions.
