It makes sense the CCP will be hit hard. There will also be collateral damage to the Big Box stores, Amazon, and Brands hat depend on CCP made goods. But domestically people will find things to spend their money on and keep the economy going. Maybe not at awesome levels short-term, but sustainable.
Who falls first, China from losing to much money, or us not getting enough supplies to keep things limping along, people being put out of work, unable to afford to feed their families.
There is no working model of communism. The only difference between China and Venezuela is that China was successfully able to bribe US politicians to sell out the US economy, technology, and manufacturing. This fuelled Chinese prosperity at the expense of the US middle class. China is a parasite that will start to die the second it is detached from its host.
That's ridiculous. The Chinese are two sets of people; the ruling class and rest of the society which is not very wealthy and still lives in the gutter. IF they were to have economic calamity, the ruling class would simply put it's boot on the neck of the working class and create an even larger slave system of even cheaper goods to sell to Europe or emerging economies.
How do you think we will fair with empty shelves and a wild population? Americans freak the fuck out at fast food joints all the times.
Worse comes to worse, they get their lackies in the US to pressure government to open the flood gates.
Also, the Chinese own massive sums of real estate and even more in US agriculture.
The ports are being clogged to break the American economy, not the Chinese.
She was never supposed to lose. They were spending based on a long term arrangement that they were informed was no longer going to be upheld when Trump took office.
The buyer always has more power than the seller. The buyer can choose between multiple sellers, while the seller always needs to get rid of their products.
definitely an interesting take which warrants some scrutiny

I've been saying this for years. China cannot survive as a major power, without our money.
She was never supposed to lose. They were spending based on a long term arrangement that they were informed was no longer going to be upheld when Trump took office.

That's what's going on here.
Hmmm... Mutual destruction.
