I had so much respect for my family's moral reasoning and knowledge. Now is can't speak with them for fear of being enraged. They look at you with a sad pathetic stare. Agreed. Well said. Took me a while to not care about how crazy it felt for them to completely disregard anything i said about it.....and even further, to tell me how wrong i was (bc they know everything?) and laugh at me multiple times. But they are the ones offended!

I literally just watched the first Halloween movie (1978) the other night and this is exactly right. The people today who are distracted and asleep are like the teens busy having sex and drinking and getting high, they're too used to their comforts and disgusting pleasures to WANT to wake up. They WANT to stay asleep, that way they can keep being little degenerates.
Also, I found it interesting that the only character who survives is the girl who doesn't sleep around, she feels it's more important to protect the children, the innocent. Death only comes around for those who filled their lives with sin and forgot to protect our children. Very interesting movie.
