my cousin lives in Bremerton....two of his adult kids are moving their families to Kentucky or Tennessee....one is a Tacoma cop. He also knows five families, from his church, relocating to those states. We are down in Oregon...people are moving to Idaho and Montana from here...my son just moved to Texas.
Move to some of the rural communities for sure. Most of us outside Seattle are way more conservative and are actually appreciative of their Police / Fire/ Hospitals.
Unfortunately we still have the King County Council which while bad, isn't as bad as Seattle's city council.
Seattle is booming. Underneath those ideas are roses sprouting breaking such concrete ideas. Currently I see it thriving. Many Karen's here. Many bill gates buddies
It turns into what all super liberal cities have become—dystopias with radically rich in their penthouses and gated communities and dirt poor living in the streets, drugged up and filthy. The rich will even eat lunch on the street next to a sleeping bum who urinated on the street tree. The middle class can’t afford to live there, nor do they want to. Every good person I know has fled Seattle and Portland for rural areas or red states.
It's not so much Seattle, that bothers me. It's that this is happening in the US and nothing is being done to stop it. If it can happen in Seattle, it could be your town next month.
And then afterwards, they protested by looting stores and burning down things. Oh wait, no they didn’t. They went and volunteered, feeding the homeless. Imagine that. Such amazing leaders now gone.
The last of the good people are being taken out, and our whole state is being plunged into Communist hell. My husband is mandated too, and we’re trying to leave as soon as we can. Mixed feelings of good riddance and grief. I’m struggling to say goodbye to the city I once loved above any other and called home, but the truth is it doesn’t exist anymore.
I left Seattle in 2017 after many years living there. It was once a beautiful, civilized, wonderful city, and I'll forever be grateful for my life there before Amazon moved in and the radical commies took over the council. It's so sad to see the vast homeless encampments and the filth and crime that comes with lawlessness on the streets. Now it's also a Nazi-style police state where one must show one's personal medical records in order to dine in a restaurant or cafe. The sooner you can get out, the better -- if you own, you'll be able to get a good price on your house still, and find a very beautiful new home in a better area of the nation. Remember, most of the country doesn't mask, doesn't ask for vaccine mandates to eat out, and DOES enforce laws. My hunch is once you're out, you'll never look back. Good luck!
We live in the next county over where our based elected sheriff protects us some, so it’s not as bad. But even so, we need to sell our house and get out of here as fast as we can. Especially since my husband’s rightful religious exemption probably won’t be accepted, and they seem to be making sure that anyone who doesn’t get the shot won’t be able to get a job anywhere. I remember though when I used to go Downtown to kill time, one of my favorite places to be. I loved Seattle so much, friends would say I should be a tourguide. Now it’s a depressing and scary place that I don’t dare go to. It makes me so angry seeing what they did, remembering how amazing it once was.
I totally relate. I feel that something beautiful was recklessly destroyed. But as you said, the Seattle we knew and loved no longer exists. That's why I haven't gone back to visit, and I'm not sure if I'll ever return. Sad, but life is much better out here in the Midwest. :)
Better check and double up on your ammo stock pile... Get your guns sighted in and make sure you legally carry at all times. This is not going to end well.
I think at this point Washington State is a shit hole state, it's sad I spent my 4th grade to my Junior year in HS there, I considered it my home state at one time even though I was born in AZ. Still got family there.
Let the bodies hit the floor. Seattle Normies will soon understand the expression, "Hell on Earth". Sadly, this understanding will come at tremendous, personal cost.
I'm not going to do this, it would be immoral, I don't advocate it, but you can't help but think this is a good time to go steal some stuff in Seattle. Or break a few windows, whatever you've always wanted to do. If it occurred to me I'm sure it'll occur to all the gangsters and punks and drug addicts living over there. They've already been doing pretty much whatever they want, I can't imagine how terrible it's going to be.
I guess I'll argue that Seattle doesn't need all that much cops. The city will hire social workers and the transit/business' will hire security guards.
The only people left in Seattle are:
A. Stupid people who don't notice the ship is sinking.
B. Evil people who actually agree with anarchy.
C. Good-hearted people who don't realize mopping the floor under a sewage pipe outlet is a pointless endeavor.
There's no reason to stay there anymore. Get the hell out of Dodge!
D. People who are standing their ground because this it is their home, and they aren't going to abandon ship just because things are getting rough.
E. If no police there will be vigilantes; nature abhors a vacuum -
vigilante
A person who is not a member of law enforcement but who pursues and punishes persons suspected of lawbreaking.
A person who considers it their own responsibility to uphold the law in their neighbourhood.
Unfortunately the puppets placed in power are in group B.
Except the anarchy will be used as cover to assassinate them and put in the real fascists.
Dodge is Seattle? How about nearby cities? As a goat any tips or tricks. I'm pressed on every side.

Wow! Appreciate the reply.

Edit: Taking it into consideration btw!
You are welcome:) I'm down in South King, bordering Pierce county and we are very rural / Conservative.
I used to work downtown and in Sodo for Seattle, and now I don't think you could pay me enough to go back to those Tech jobs.
Or those who are stuck here. We all can't get out and just transfer our careers elsewhere
If they come to drown your first born in the river, you drop your carpenter's tools, get on the donkey, and get the hell out.
Don't wait for an angel in a dream to tell you to get the hell out.
time to get outta Dodge.............purge incoming
yep they will finish off what they already fuked up last summer

Watch SEATTLE IS DYING if you have yet to see it.
What I grapple with - us God gave me the ability to know this was all coming. That worse is coming after that.
We have to learn to thrive and guide anyone and everyone we can during the decline.
Have any ideas? I really don't care about money. Unfortunately maybe I should have as it's a means to more.
Seattle pretty much legalized all crime, including assault and rape, in their Budget Bill last year so really what do they need cops for?
It's not so much Seattle, that bothers me. It's that this is happening in the US and nothing is being done to stop it. If it can happen in Seattle, it could be your town next month.
Every passing day it becomes more clear that democrats primary objective is to destroy America.
They have hired a lot of enforcement rent a cops. I think they'll be good.
I think itll just turn into a vaccine authoritarian. It was built on bill gates beast Microsoft and Chinese money.
I’m sure mall cops and meter maids will be very helpful in catching serial killers and shutting down trafficking/prostitution rings.
I thought we all agreed that was being allowed and assisted by the demon-crats?
We do and have been making many guards out of the population
Community of npcs are also rising. Many in numbers, pushed back the need for police.
All of seattle about to become Chad, not just 1 city block

Eastern WA is great. My parents live in Kittitas county and I love it. We need to join our Eastern OR brothers and sisters and make our own state.
I would have been looking for another home a year ago. Seattle is a dangerous place.
Where's Batman when you need him?
Let the bodies hit the floor. Seattle Normies will soon understand the expression, "Hell on Earth". Sadly, this understanding will come at tremendous, personal cost.
Seattle Normies got what they supported and voted for.
Bon Apetit !
that's only several dozen people and it looks like most of them are office workers.
Every one is carrying their shoes to drop off, one guy is carrying a baby. ! :0
Okay.....I know...I just know I'm gonna care about this..............wow! I don't give a damn

The comments are heartbreaking. There are too many blind idiots in this country.
They’ll starve during the great reset. They’ll get their punishment soon enough.
Let it burn! Let it burn! Let it burn!
I'm sure the Blacklivesmatter band wagon will take over and make it a magical place to roam free in.
I guess I'll argue that Seattle doesn't need all that much cops. The city will hire social workers and the transit/business' will hire security guards.
Didn't CHAD last year prove the city needs police badly?
CHAZ it was something something autonomous zone.
