If you read this article carfefully you can analyse how much fake news is here.
Hackers from Anonymous told The NYT they had created fake accounts on Trump’s Truth Social site.
What the fuck is a hacker from anonymous? This is the first clue that there is no source for this story
Former President Donald Trump’s upcoming social-media site, Truth Social, was hacked just a few hours after the announcement of its launch.
Even they realise it doesn't exist and yet they claim it was hacked.
TMTG said that the site would open to invitees in November and to the public in the first quarter of 2022. The app is currently available for pre-order in Apple’s App Store, and people are able to join a waiting list.
That alone was enough for Anonymous hackers to get access to the prerelease version of the Twitter-like app, Aubrey Cottle, a hacker affiliated with Anonymous, told The Times.
So the annoucement that you can join a waiting list was enough to get access to pre-release version of the app and hack it? Do these "hackers" even understand that a social media app requires a backend that does not even exist yet? Even if we assume they somehow downloaded a "prerelease version of the Twitter-like app" ?
The publication said it viewed screenshots verifying the hackers’ claims, and reported that hackers gained access within two hours of Trump announcing the site.
So the ONLY verification for this story, even according to the publication is viewing screenshots. Do they realise how easy it is to create a "screenshot" of pretty much anything you want, let alone something that is "twitter-like" by manipulating HTML using inspect element?
The last part is a nail in the coffin for this disgrace of a fake news by business insider.
Yeah I know, but why create false posts of pig shit when nobody will see them?
That just doesn't make any sense and will only assist President Trump to fix any security flaws before it goes live, rather than identifying vulnerabilities and waiting until launch day to use them.
Main idea probably to get idea of the software, find weaknesses to exploit later and so on. Then again, it runs probably on Bezoz servers and requires Apple acceptance so it can't anything but compromized.
It wouldn't surprise me if the entire article is fake news... and given that all publicity is good publicity, I wonder if this was perhaps staged by the white hats.
Fake news article used to sow the seed of distrust in the new social media platform before it is even a thing - expect more "anonymous" type "news" articles to come. A social media platform that cannot protect users' information is doomed to fail - making the impression that "Truth" is easily hacked is the intent of this propaganda piece.
--The hackers posted a picture of a defecating pig on an account with the handle @donaldjtrump, the publication reported, with screenshots shared on Twitter.
The hackers told The Times the hack was part of their "online war against hate."--
So the hackers were grade schoolers I take it? By the sound of this article it seems they were.

"Anonymous" is a group of hackers wearing the Guy Fawkes mask. They're more of a hacktivist group but protesting for the wrong reasons.

Ah that - the deep state hackers. Of course, they are the only ones who would do something dumb like this. kek
How could they do this when the site won't go online until next year?
Things that make 'ya go hmmmmm.
It's up even though not open.

Just trolling, I guess...

It’s a honeypot
That's your average day on Facebook and Twitter. No hacking required. Except they have CP.
