the thing is twitter isn't supposed to be all ABOUT a specific thing whereas GAW was made SPECIFICALLY as a board for discussing things related to Q. stuff gets deleted on GAW when it isn't pro Q sure, but it's also specifically stated that this is a pro Q board. twitter isn't supposed to be a leftist, hive mind tumor of soyboys and more pronouns than the average IQ of twitter users, but they still ban/censor anything that goes against their views. while I hate censorship period, GAW has SOME justification here for being a board specifically about Q.
The constitution protects your speech from government overreach. This website isn’t a government entity, and there’s no secret back channel for politicians to use to get unpopular opinions suppressed, unlike Twitter.
This space is a research and discussion board for a specific topic. If you're communicating about things outside that topic, expect to get banned/blocked/hidden.
You have a choice: respect the rules and participate on-topic, or go somewhere else. Pretty simple.
You bitching about "your constitutional rights" is just troublemaking, especially in the company of such hardy patriots.
It's not about 'cooking', or 'video games' or 'movies', but for researchers and freedom loving people looking to have a focused location about 'the great awakening'.
Sure, you might find something in a cookbook, or a video game, or a movie related to 'the great awakening', which you are welcome to share. But this site isn't really the place to share your secret recipe for chocolate chip cookies, or whatever.
In short, mods on this site are just trying to keep you on topic 'the great awakening' and research surrounding that. In fact most mods will respect your 1A rights, but if you're going into violence or inciting it, or going too far outside 'the great awakening' to get lots of reports, yeah, chances are it's going to get removed.
Section 230 protection means the site is not (as) responsible for unlawful content. Once a site starts editing things it is responsible.
I haven't seen any content that is unlawful here so the mods must be keeping it under control.
Since twitter has decided they want to be editors, they are responsible for all the illegal stuff that appears there (they surrendered any S230 protection).
I don't think you should be banned. But, your posts should be moved for not following the rules. There are plenty of .win that cover many topics -- just stay on topic.
I hope Truth Social doesn't censor. I can block people if it bothers me that much. It's pretty easy to recognize an agitator and I don't have time for those type of people.
Your position if I'm reading you right, is that because the contents on this site are moderated that it cannot be free speech.
I disagree, its protecting others right to their free speech in regards to a certain topic, (for example Q), without having 'trumphater123' or 'antifa-tendies' spamming anything they like and completely derail anyone's ability to have a discussion about a topic
Now it would be different if we met out on the street right?
You can say what ever you like in a PUBLIC forum, because it is OPEN to the public for general discussion.
This board is about free speech, it's about our right to be able to discuss Q.
Doesn't mean you can just say anything without consequences, after all, it's not a limit on what you can say, it's keeping the subject in focus.
Because if we did your way than every random post should be left up, no matter the contents.
But who's free speech are you protecting then?
Certainly not the free speech of the people who want to discuss Q without having to discuss things outside of Q, time and place for any subject right?
Don't forget, there is your rights as well as my rights. They don't to cancel each other out.
This argument is in relation to message boards that have a specific topic.
A whole lot of provisions in section 230 have never been ruled by the courts. So when people say Section 230 allows you to do this or not do that, they are most probably just guessing.
While section 230 needs to be overhauls, what Twitter, Facebook etc do go far beyond the scope of that section and need to be addressed in whatever way.
First, the Big Tech has an information monopoly. Whistleblowers have talked about how they use centralised system to ban users or remove content based on keywords, topics etc across other social media platforms and even with traditional media as well. Monopoly of information needs to be an alarming idea regardless of what ideology you believe in.
Secondly, Twitter has been shown to collude with local governments to launder government censorship. Shiva Ayyadurai had a complete expose on this thats worth watching. Here we are entering even more scary authoritarian situation where government is censoring via private proxies. Remember Soviet union and Pravda? Yeah, essentially Twitter is becoming government proaganda machine. Goebbels will be drooling with envy if he saw whats going on today.
Thirdly, and least of all, Big Tech built their market dominance promoting free speech so turning around and using that dominance to alter election outcomes or warp public perception is highly fascist and needs to be addressed via legislation if not already covered.
This group doesn't pretend to be an open forum for speech. Twitter does. This is a very small assembly of like-minded individuals who discuss a topic or topics of which they have common interest.
Twitter is a de facto public forum. It has global reach and exposure; EVERYONE knows about Twitter. If you tweet a political message, virtually everyone in the world is potentially exposed to it.
You can't say the same about this site. Anything you post here has very limited exposure to a relatively small group of people. Twitter has 73 million users in the US alone.
Twitter is supposed to be an open and fair forum for all views and comments. THIS is NOT .... it is a forum supporting a SPECIFIC topic. So fuck off!
thanks bro
Yep. Human rights are only for humans, silly commie.

So, fall in or 🖕🏼 off.
This site is about 'the great awakening'.
Following so far?

I'm waiting to see what his comeback to this is or maybe he won't answer.

This is our home and we make the rules here. It's comfy.

Nah, I don't want any part of that. I'll block.
Soooo are you saying twatter doesn't want you either?

Let me get this straight
You're making a false equivalency.
This group doesn't pretend to be an open forum for speech. Twitter does. This is a very small assembly of like-minded individuals who discuss a topic or topics of which they have common interest.
