Rules for Radicals #4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
"If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)"
This is how you turn into the very thing you hate. How many times does that morality tale have to play out before we learn our lesson? The left's favorite justification for everything they've done is "the right does it too" or "the right is worse". That's all they've got.
Just speculating here...if a dude wanted to buy Rachel Madcow a drink and if the dude then did to her what Lemmon did to this guy, I'm pretty sure the MSM would be coming to her/his/its (Madcow) defense with serious rape charges. BUT I do not condone that response on either side; just hypothetically illustrating what I would imagine the response would be. Terms like rape, racism, assault, etc have been dumbed down by the left to mean whatever is the most politically expedient for them. That's why society has been reduced to needing "safe spaces" for the snowflakes.
I think the sentiment here is 'fight fire with fire.' However, as corrupt as it is currently, if we don't use the law to overcome this threat, if we stoop to the level of the ends justifying the means, then the principles the country was founded on are meaningless and we may as well forget America as we knew it. Doesn't mean we can't be assertive and relentless also, though
Yea, because when I think of how we should conduct ourselves to best attempt to restore society to some level of rationality and sanity the first thing I think of is the book "Rules for Radicals".
If you’re attacked by a criminal on the street, do you defend yourself with the strict rules of amateur boxing or do you use every dirty trick in the book to survive? Do you want your last thoughts to be: “At least I was a nice guy and didn’t do anything mean”?
Who said anything about being a "nice guy" or not doing anything mean? Self-defense using whatever force necessary to stop the threat does not equal following "Rules for Radicals".
In the front lines of the culture war, there are times when using the left's rules against them is not only effective, it nudges them away from fringe leftism. You'll never see a leftist wilt faster than when they are convincingly accused of racism. If you can get their supposed allies and peers to join in, it has the potential to leave them totally disillusioned with politics. I've seen it. So yes, using these rules against them can contribute to restoring rationality to society.
Use their own tactics against them.

Sorry im not abiding by the rules for radicals
And this is why we lose.
No, we're winning. Patriots in control.

The article said it was rape. Did the victim say it was rape?
General patton “ to beat evil you must be temporarily more evil “ something to h the at effect
I get what youre saying but referring to shoving smelly dick fingers at someone should never be described as violent rape by either side. Sorry.

If Don Lemon fingers someone's AIDS butthole and sticks his fingers up your nose are you still going to act like it's no big deal?

Sure if letting people's lives get destroyed more and more everyday is your idea of "principles" then yeah I guess that makes sense....
When has "the law" ever stopped the communists from winning?
You might win a round with "the law" but you're losing the war. BADLY.
When the law becomes corrupt, there IS NO LEGAL OPTION.
Go read the Declaration of Independence.

He's saying use their playbook against them as a defense

Yeah how's it been following the rules so far?
Very good, Patriots in control.
