That’s already been proven. He carried the gun LEGALLY. You only have to see the way he has been trained, his respect for the Police in putting his hands up etc. to know that he was well within the law. He was with friends who were defending their businesses and helping them and he was trained in first aid. There is also vid./pics of him cleaning graffiti off the buildings. Any decent parent would be proud of this young man; Anyone that sees this as not self defence, doesn’t deserve to live in America. The guy is a hero.

That being said it should be legal.
As a minor, he cannot purchase or own a weapon in Wisconsin.
There may be a clause that allows him to carry a long barrelled weapon which the Judge will advise the jury on.
