They do try to hide the air intakes but would not be hard to find it probably using a thermal camera would show the air movement in.

I remember Synth from Skycoin was talking about how some billionaire was trying to come up with a system that he could stay in his bunker and have some kind of dispenser outside so he could pay people to do things for him while he remained safe inside and spending money on how to solve this problem, cause they realized that the staff would probably just kill the billionaire asshole and take his bunker for themselves when things got that bad.
