I truly believe that masking among the populace increases risks of disease transmission. Wearing masks in public setting by lay people is counter intuitive. I believe Fauci and his cohorts know that, and it is why they push the masks in order to increase the number of 'cases' as they call them. Just a retired surgeon's point of view.

In some more serious surgeries, surgeons and nurses may be working for like 20 straight hours in masks to help keep anything they're breathing out from getting into the open wounds. This seems to work well enough for the doctors and nurses nearly daily without long-term effects. If doctors and nurses have been using masks for decades to keep patients safe it must work on some level. I was once in the hospital with a very contagious infection, the nurses and doctors treating me all came in in extra gowns, gloves, and masks whenever they were in my room. So the precautions kept them safe too since they worked multiple days with me and never got sick. 🤷♂️

Local choices are great, unless they are illegal, unscientific, or outright harmful - and mandates tick all 3 boxes. The the next level up of government should be saying 'no that is a violation of constitutional rights you cant just' choose' to do that'.
You should be able to choose say - to play russian roulette for yourself and YOURSELF only, you should not be able to force anyone else to also do it too.
Education at all levels is infested with communism and people being paid to take away rights. Saying it it simply up to those groups to decide....what if they decide to lock kids up in solitary confinement 'well that is what the local board decided so who am i to say otherwise?' - it is still illegal and should be stopped.
