Ain't this the truth. I've thought the same.
I'm there as well.
DITTO
Made the jump ten years ago, no regrets.
Yup. A van or a boat is now my dream house.
Sail boat with one person electronically running the rigging. I could handle that. :)
I moved to bumfuck Alabama from Dallas. Best decision for my family I've made. Don't think I could ever live in the city again.
That’s a sweet lookin trailer, fr.
I enjoy watching Homestead Rescue, where people are living like that. Check it out if you have a tv service.
My husband and I are amazed you can’t just buy land and live out of a tent on your own acreage seems weird
Never once in my life did I want to live in the top pic. Growing up a country girl makes one uncomfortable in such places. My husband and I bought a 1974 GMC Buffalo bus in 2013 and equipped it be full self-contained so we could live and travel in it full-time. We travelled seasonally 4 years, living in it for 2-4 months thru the winter and traveling south (working seasonally). Building it and traveling in it was hands down the best time of our entire lives!! Original plan was to sell our house and live in it full time; circumstances changed but we are so thankful to have the times we had in it already but also to be able to have it as a back-up should the world turn abrubtly.
I remember a poster of a mansion with 7 garages, and a hot sportscar in each one, one for every day of the week. A dude in my dorm in the late '80s in college had it, we all were dreaming it.
Been the top picture... currently working on the bottom one.
This has become common...
Made that jump this year, been on the road full time since. Roaming around the west looking for a homestead now, just in case... Never going back to the race.
We found a small retirement town, north of so cal, God loving, Bible thumping, RED WAVE folks refusing to comply because those city idiots don’t know what the dang they’re doing, but live and let live… we live on the outskirts of town, surrounded by farms, orchards, pot growers, and truckers. We have so many ma & pa shops that we get fresh everything constantly… plus the only two roads going North-South run right through our little town… if we were to pull big rigs across both roads it would take a total of five 18 wheelers to completely block ALL traffic to our city. Oroville, California has claimed sanctuary status against the vaccines… our government would be wise to stay south of Sacramento… WE THE SOVEREIGN PEOPLE OF JEFFERSON STATE WILL NOT COMPLY!
I live in a van down by the river!
Best choice I’ve made this chapter of my life, The rona made my dream come true. Silver linings y’all
Well I'm pretty much there my frens. Been a tough year over here. I'm still hopeful tho.
I've met a few people from Cleveland OhiO who all look like Chris Farley and DrewCarey. It's really weird. Living in a van down by the river ain't all that bad.
