Not sure about Dr Shiva yet. He seems to be for the good side. Time will tell I guess.
I think he is on the good side, but he doesn’t know what is all going on. He is doing his best with what he knows. Fwiw, he dislikes Trump bc after elected, Trump brushed aside his campaign promise to put Hillary behind bars. He says we all got played by Trump and that Trump is in the pocket of big pharma.
Not arguing that point, but pointing out what Shiva has said on his stream.

Perhaps the modern uniparty, but I'd say you could trace versions of it through the Progressive Era all the way back to the Democratic-Republicans. Had Lincoln not been assassinated, I think the Republican Party under his leadership would have obliterated the Democratic Party
Lincoln made it clear his goal was reconciliation, bring the lost sheep back into the fold. He did seem to favor holding some of the rebel ringleaders more accountable than others, but actual hangings for treason were unlikely. He had mentioned something like, of they all escaped to Europe or South America, it wouldn't be a bad thing. There would have been resistance, but ultimately I think his leadership would have kept Reconstruction more organized and unified. Johnson at first wanted hangings, even indicted Davis, Lee and others. But then he eased off. The Republican party split. Everything got messy. Democrat former rebels retook control of the South by 1880s. Delayed healing by decades.
We don't have clear north south geographic sectionalism now, but the rural urban divide is real especially when it comes to the culture wars. Much more difficult of a civil war to deal with because of less defined battlefields

After his loss to Kevin O’Connor in the primary for the senate, Shiva gave a very bitter speech (sorry for no link; searched but couldn’t find it), and came across as a very sore loser….very angry. Just a bad attitude.
Been following him for a while now, and though he often says the right things, there’s something “off” about him. Pres. Trump endorsed Geoff Diehl, who so far, seems like a promising candidate. There’s hope for Massachusetts yet!

I agree something is off about Shiva and he keeps trying to run. You would think he'd throw his support behind a good local candidate but he keeps seeking power.
That said I wrote him in last campaign because the republican was another Democrat lite for sure. I never like our candidates here and I never get a chance to know who they are. They don't come to our neck of the woods to stump on the southcoast or because I'm social media free I don't know when they are here. Lol.

Sadly, I don't think there are any. Besides, the big blue machine won't let them win here anyway. The massive amount of Maga energy i saw in this state before the election last year was crazy. And then you see Joe "won" by more than HRC in 2016. Yeah OK 👌 👌👌
