It doesn’t matter what it’s called, or where it’s from. It’s description, in exact form, is from the Bible. Meaning, evil. Of the devil no doubt. Of course Satan would cover his statues in art forms from civilizations. That’s exactly how he would do it. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck...guess what, it’s a duck!
But I also don’t think we should be naive. If someone 2000 yrs ago said a rock formation, dark in color would kill this planet in fire...and we said “well, technically it’s not a rock, it’s metal. And also it’s more cylinder shaped, not rock(round) shape. And it’s a whitish color...it’s not prophecy”....to me that would be, not wise. It’s a leopard style, wings, bear footed, with tiger face....it’s like someone drew an image straight from the scripture itself. I’ll take this as a sculpture of evil representation. Could’ve been a rock formation, a star, anything to represent the U.N. No, they go with a Chinese dragon. I’m not buying it.
And yes, I think Jesus Christ would be a great write in for political reasons. Least I would be happy with my vote. If it even counted these days.
And don't forget the dragon scale design on its back legs "and the dragon gave him his power....". Might be an ancient South America deity but the description is too close for me to dismiss it as just that. Furthermore the Chinese creature and south American deity COULD be the same creature (the beast). Would make sense considering all the non Christian religions and mythology all have similar or pretty much the same gods/monsters/etc. And imo the inspiration for it all stems from nimrod and his mother. It's most evident on Egyptian mythology about Osiris/isis and Horus. It's an interesting dig if you wanna venture down that rabbit hole lol
It's from Mexico. My vote is its supposed to be Tezcatlipoca or one of the other Jaguar gods.

"The giant alebrijes placed in the Rockefeller Center in New York are the work of Oaxacan artisans Jacobo and María Ángeles, from the municipality of San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca Mexico. The Workshop of Mexican artists Jacobo and María Ángeles created two "Guardians" to live in New York City, as part of a series called "Nomads." "The jaguar is cautious and strategic, fighting for its herd during the day and watchful at night. " The eagle, with its force of flight, keeps its sight on the horizon towards the future, safeguarding the future of the tribe.
The mission of both sculptures is "to accompany and protect all Latin American, Mexican and Oaxacan migrants who live or are about to arrive in the United States seeking a better future for their tribes." And the Beast of Revelation 13 in the immediately preceeding verse has horns and seven heads.

Just did some more reading - this came from Mexico. It's obviously Nahuatl inspired where they worshiped a divine Jaguar.
Mezoamerican religions were evil and pagan in the extreme, but they have nothing to do with eschatology.

This statue doesn't match any description from scripture. First of all, it's a Jaguar. Second, OP cut the parts of the scripture which describe features of the beast not found on the statue.
