Eye-opening. I'd also recommend Strong's Concordance for those who wish to understand scripture. Most KEY words have very different meanings today than they did back then....
I bought a 1950 edition recently after hearing this and wanted to confirm. It said something like "the sufferings of European Jews," but nothing about camps or genocide. Fucking weird.
My wife buys used books from some website. They have tons of older ones. I ended up getting a world history book for every decade from the 1930’s to the 60’s, for less than $10 each. It’s amazing What changes from decade to decade, and what’s not even mentioned till the 50s-60s.
I remember in an old encyclopedia it mentioned public sentiment in America was strong against a secret society ( Free Masons I think). Running for public office was practically impossible if known. I’ve picked up on hints of an incident that could have triggered it but google is not my friend.
Modern liberalism. Noun. Totally-not-fascistic-at-all. Totally not the merger of big g o v and corporation, as per Benito's own definition. Proponents of liberalism are always morally right. As for critics of liberalism, see fascist.
When I cleaned out my grandmother's house years ago, I kept her Random House Dictionary of the English language, circa 1967. Hardcover, it's missing its spine, but the rest is intact.
I own a facsimile Webster's 1828 - the first released in the USA. For now, you can also reference it online here: http://webstersdictionary1828.com/Dictionary/dictionary

Was going to post that myself. We used that during homeschooling.
I have a Webster's Deluxe 1949.
Websters is SHIT..
It has a full account of WWII in extensive detail, as well as WWI.
No mention of the concentration camps...
It does mention "poor treatment of jews" half-way in the middle of the account, but that's it.
So...
Yes? No? You decide.

But then you have to ask yourself and I don't have the answer. Was the 1949 edition factual and there were no concentration camps?
No mention of the alleged holocaust in Churchills 3 volume memoirs either. Ditto Eisenhower and de Gaulle
Still have the dictionary that I was required to buy when I was in high school in 1965.
Dictionaries are the tools of Word Supremacists.

Would you please ask your wife what site, and share with the rest of the history fans here?
But of course fren.
