It all started with rumors that the communist party was in trouble and losing power. That spurred patriotic movements all over the country that the already nearly bankrupt government had to expend ever more resources to contain. The propaganda and oppression got blatant and hysterical like it is now. However, once it was widespread knowledge that the regime was about to fall, it happened very quickly. The army sided with the people at the last minute and it was all over. I remember seeing tanks drive back toward Russia as they left.
It's especially hilarious that a good chunk of people who lived through it are still triple vaxxed sheep today.
I live in a tiny country but just like in the US, there seems to be a clear divide between urban and rural populations. The cities have transformed into carbon copies of western Europe with all the globohomo pitfalls and retarded commies which I guess can whitewash the common sense out of people over time.
For what it's worth, even the "official" stats say only about 60% of the country has got the clotshot which is considerably lower than in most of Europe. The government is having a tough time trying to portray 40% of the population as some tiny crazy minority and resistance is mounting fast. Hopefully this is the last fall of a commie regime I have to live through, lol.
Actually back in August a high cabal member slipped in an interview and mentioned only 30% were vaxxed while official stats were already over 50%. I wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't risen much since then.
Do you know if it's true that, especially on the outer borders of the empire, that people generally looked upon the invading Germans as saviors and even went back to Germany with them when they had to retreat?

They paid for food and shelter, brought chocolate to children, provided blankets in the winter, etc. It was the Russians who did most of the raping, murdering and looting. Thousands of people were sent to Siberia to die of hunger and exposure. Russian rule was pure cabal misery while Nazi Germany blossomed economically and culturally.
I'm sure no civilian knows what exactly went down back then but it's not what's written in the history books, that's for sure.
