Well, if they were SMART they'd be afraid. But they are NOT all that smart, living in their self-replicating ideology, and they are tone deaf to what the real world is thinking and saying. I'm sure some of them will be standing on the gallows and in their final moments say something stupid like, "We only wanted to HELP!"
