My brother in law, 58 years old, died very suddenly of an aneurysm Saturday. My family is devastated. It will be a very sad Christmas for us. Make an effort to be with your family, tell them you love them and hold them tight. May the peace of Christ be with you all on this Holy night!
I’ve been up since 4am to get to the store for 6am to finish my grocery shopping. All presents done except for 4 small ones. Just on way home now to finish cleaning and tidying and changing the beds for new fresh bedding. Merry Christmas all and here’s hoping we all are blessed by God with the beginning of the end of this horror show so our children may know peace and prosperity.
I’m not cooking this year. We are going to our parents tomorrow for Christmas dinner. The kids are really looking forward to it after all the disruption of this lunacy. I’m going to be making red velvet cake and chocolate chip cookies tonight to take with us though. Have got a nice piece of beef for the slow cooker for a pot roast on Boxing Day though.
Christmas for our family and friends will carry on as though nothing has happened.... no masks, no social distancing... just good old-fashioned Christmas fun. screw fauchi and any other scum that wishes otherwise!
I live alone; not seen only daughter and s-i-l for 2 years now, darling dog just died. Am I miserable?
Not at all: unsubscribed from this pagan celebration years ago. So; no worry, no stress, no spending loadsamoney on "Must have essentials", no pine needles to vaccum for weeks to come. No recycled presents from friends or stuff I don't want that goes to charity shops. No cards from people who don't keep in touch and send cards without even knowing if I'm alive and still at the same address.
No false expectations, no disappointments. Bliss. I celebrate the birth of Jesus every day and thank God for all the blessing He has given me - best present ever.
Hope you all enjoy this though, many do. For those who struggle I say: opt out.
We’ll have 2 of our 3 kids and all 6 grandkids here. All of us are non jabbed, anti masks and patriots. I’m making a spiral ham with all the fixings. I’ll make the pumpkin roll & a pumpkin pie today. I’ve been good about wrapping gifts as I get them this year. Unfortunately my parents are gone & my husband only has his dad left. Merry Christmas to everyone here.
due to circumstances, i have to postpone the family festivities. There will be an after Christmas Christmas. however, i will spend the day singing Christmas karaoke and taking a holiday from all visual and audio of Dr. Frankenshtein, so as not to cause gastric disturbance. Will shop my favorite low key low carb beef dinner. Hope the last minute shopping isn't too crazy.
Is definitely more normal than not. Have had gatherings already, those who wish to come will and those who don't miss out. Going to in-laws for family gathering tonight, will have a quiet meal tomorrow - Mississippi Roast is on the menu and watching some classic movies. And of course will be checking the news and GA for any updates. Merry Christmas to one and all.

What holiday?
For me personally, it hasn't been Christmas since my grandmother passed away summer 2008.
Party like it's 1999.
