Back in the 1950s there were lots of grade-B sci-fi movies that always had the cliche line, "We are dealing with things humanity was not meant to mess with." Hmmm, maybe we should resurrect that concept.
Lol freaky! My dog is one that does not like a finger in her face, I noticed it’s about the same look before she lifts her lip and gives you a growl. 😂
Ha! I thought zir looked a bit like Greta too, only a nice, pleasant Greta. Also, zir gently touched the person's arm, zir didn't grab it or appear to freak out as the article suggests. What little I saw of the robot made me think, Aww, how sweet and pleasant. It would be nice to have help like that if it didn't have the ability to think for itself, spy on you or become aggressive. It would almost be like a pet. One that does things like, bring you your slippers and pipe.
Holy shit, a machine did what it was programmed to do.
Absolutely... I think this should be retitled: "Journalist misunderstands situation and sensationalizes story to get clicks"...
"Journalist does what journalists do best; Lie"
Journalists gonna journal
Hubris, meet Nemesis

Nope, don't like that. Put it back in a box, preferably in pieces. We got enough shit to worry about right now.

Sharing the clip on YouTube, the Cornwall-based robotics firm said that “Ameca reacts as things enter their ‘personal space.’”

Holy shit, its Kalergi Sonny v1.0.
Theyre creating AI ROBOTS THAT ARE 100x smarter than humans with AI quantum tech. Look up george rose and the D-wave computer.
