I found out an old high school friend’s little sister died at age 32, was put on the ventilator and died yesterday. I kept in contact via social media and she was a real gem of a soul, was vocal about the plandemic, was an elementary school teacher who refused to vaccinate and hated the mask mandates on young students. We lost a good one. I fear the school will use this as fodder to really implement vaccines for faculty and children now. It suck. I didn’t know her that well and I’ve been crying all day about it. She was one of ours, ya know?

Use a home kit. Do the dog's nose -- left nostril. Covid free. Right one works too.
Dilute povidone iodine in a 9-to-1 ratio with distilled water, then spray it up each nostril prior to doing a nasal swab test. Don't stick the swab too far up the nostril; it can crack the cribriform plate that way and cause all sorts of brain problems down the road.

Basically, the iodine kills any germs that might be in the nasal cavity, which practically assures a negative test result.
Many nurses/docs do this on a daily basis to keep their sinuses clean. It's very safe.
Also, would misting colloidal silver up the nasal passages also work I wonder?
Yes, I would think colloidal silver would be great for spraying into the nasal passages. I know it works well in a nebulizer to help you breathe it into your lungs.
I had to take a test for travel. Didn’t want to take one, but needed to keep peace in the family. Took a rapid antigen test at a CVS. The antigen test is more likely to give a false negative. I would need to do more reading, but I don’t think it would mistake a cold for covid.
LOL at the idea that a RAT would not mistake a cold for covid. Many colds ARE coronaviruses. The point is that OP needs a test that says (-). Whether she has a cold or not is irrelevant. I agree with other posters here, that iodine rinse before testing is a great idea. Gargle with Listerine as well. Do this anyway, just to keep yourself clean and healthy. Win win.
My hubby needed a test for work. We were able to find the Binax test by Abbott. It comes with 2 tests per box. His first test was positive and he had symptoms. The second test was negative and he went back to work. Binax is made in the US and worked great. Best of luck finding tests
I guess Binax gets the name by offering binary results: one Yes and one No.
Great question, sorry you didn’t really get an answer. The PCR was officially discontinued on 31 Dec, discontinuation and acknowledgement it was faulty was announced Junish, I don’t understand why it was ever used again after announcement. Not sure what reliable source could validate new “approved” tests.

She might want to put a diluted mix of water and tea tree oil in her nostrils before the test. It will kill any bacteria that lives there including a cold. At the first symptom of a cold I use it and the cold is gone. I've been using this for over 15 yrs now, and I've never developed the cold symptoms. Prayers sent for you and her.
You never put any swabs up pour nose, period. Ya' might as well suggest putting a bullet up her nose as well. Do not put a swab up your nose. There is no such thing as a sterilized medical product. The swabs themselves have ethylene oxide, a known carcinogen on them, along with other nasty chemicals.
Blow your nose into seran wrap and swab from there!
