Today is January 7th, the day when the SCOTUS decides on the OSHA Clot Shot Mandates. Gut feeling is that they have to strike these tyrannical mandates down for many reasons, but extraordinarily stupid things has happened in the past and especially in the recent past, so I will not be surprised (still be very upset) if OSHA's tyranny is allowed to stand for reasons stupid and asinine.
Either way, please pray for the fate of this nation, for it hangs in this very day.
The only true ending is OSHA is completely dismantled. It's a slush fund
The fact that they pushed masks on workers like myself when they know they don't work, even against larger debris like asbestos, is criminal.
Class action their asses out of existence of this mandate goes through. Even if it doesn't.
What you're describing is bureaucratic creep and applies to government and big corporations as well. Rules/laws are added each year, but very few ever go away. Eventually, no matter what you do, you're breaking a rule/law.
New OSHA employees come in and justify their job by making up new rules. Over time it becomes more of a burden to the workers they claim to protect than what protection they provide.
Oh you're right on.
The best was I was on a scissor lift. About ten feet high. The OSHA guy came in and told me to tie off to the lift. It is not required on scissor lifts under a certain height because they have... Gates around it!
I was forced to leave the job site.
Another instance the guy cut my cord mid cut on a chop saw because it had electrical tape around it in a spot. Causing the blade to kick up the heavy gauge stud I was cutting.
Idiots
thats the thing that gets me, sometimes its more dangerous to set up the safety harness ,like when you have to go up to the peak of the roof to attach a harness hookup. think about it osha someone has to go up there without a harness you dum dums ,tehn again to disconnect it
Anyone else remember when we thought OSHA was a hero?
No, I must be too young at 65. I've never thought any bureaucratic organization as a hero. More like leeches sucking blood off the host.
A common phrase heard around the workplace "Is that OSHA compliant?" whenever someone does something haphazardly, the way people should. Doesn't Osha know they are a joke? Do they really think they are "saving lives"? Or are they like any other government agency... their role is to make "laws" and enforce them. And punish people who don't follow their laws. It's their whole life, and it's all about control under the guise of caring.
I pray for God’s will to be done.
If the mandate stands, then Red States will stand against OSHA and the Fed. Red States, after all, have no standing if we remember the TX case about 11/3/20.
Not at all, I,said the opposite in a round about way. Regardless of the rulings it doesn't affect the travel, it just has to do with compelling inoculations. I hope red States will not comply, ergo "red States will stand against OSHA and the fed."

Listening now.... Not liking what I'm hearing here...
