I saw a post by u/cathole953 about tobacco (https://greatawakening.win/p/141En6FXWh/serious-question-do-you-guys-thi/) and it reminded me about an interesting article I read recently.
https://veilofreality.com/2017/09/05/the-health-benefits-of-tobacco-and-cutting-through-the-anti-smoking-propaganda/ (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS ENTIRE ARTICLE)
I got to his thread a little late so I figured I'd open a new one.
The overarching question being asked is, "Is tobacco as bad as we've been told, or have we fallen victim to yet another massive propaganda campaign?"
The article further goes on to suggest that perhaps we've been completely brainwashed and programmed into fearing the tobacco plant, which has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal herb.
It really makes you wonder.
In short, the anti-smoking propaganda is based on lies and very corrupted science. There is also a HUGE difference between natural additive-free organic tobacco and commercial cigarettes. Commercial cigarettes are filled with hundreds of added chemicals that shouldn’t be in there, to begin with.
I discussed this topic with my family after first reading about this, and a question came to my mind that I never thought about before...
When your doctor says "smoking causes XYZ", do they EVER bother to make a distinction between smoking a raw tobacco leaf, and smoking commercial cigarettes loaded with hundreds chemicals? No they do not.
When you fill out paperwork at the doctor's office, and it asks "Are you a smoker?", does it ask "Are you a smoker of chemical-laden commercial cigarettes?" or "Are you a smoker of natural tobacco leaf?" No, it does not.
Does it make a difference? Hell yes it does. Even if commercial cigarettes had ONE synthetic chemical in them, it would make a difference. They have hundreds, and nobody is calling this massive oversight into question.
This is about as nonsensical as saying "food is bad for you" without making a distinction between fresh veggies and McDonalds.
Now there is, of course, a valid argument to be had about the carcinogenic properties of consuming all combusted material (grilled meat, joints, cigs, etc).. assuming that's not based on bullshit "science", too.
But combustion aside... are we being manipulated about tobacco? If so, why?
This is a discussion worth having.
America was built on tobacco
I have heard that smoking reduces the risk of getting the 'rona. I'm not exactly sure whether it's a tar / mucus thing or a chemical receptor thing.
I've heard that as well. The article also points out that tobacco was used during the Great Plague to avoid catching it.
It is because nicotine binds to the ACE2 receptors so when rons's spike protein tries to attach it can not because the space is filled. Nurses and Doctors in NYC and other places were using nicotine patches at the beginning of the plandemic as a prophylactic. Studies were being done but the findings have been hidden/scrubbed.

That makes sense.
Organic tobacco has some good health promoting properties. It reduces estrogen and boosts DHT which is enormously helpful, especially for men. People who take aspirin, drink coffee and use tobacco have a much lower incidence of Alzheimer's disease than people who don't. Nicotine benefits to the brain are well documented.
My husband can personally vouch for the protective benefits of cigar smoking to the lungs. There was a time we considered buying land to grow and process organic tobacco. It’s nearly impossible to find a clean snus.
Anecdotal story: my mother's eye doctor claimed to have written a thesis on how smoking lowered the incident of Alzheimer's and other neurological disease. Claimed to have gotten good marks for it.
I wouldn't go as far as saying 'healthy' but I agree that organic tobacco would have to be far less harmful. Before I switched to vaping, there was only 1 brand I could find where the list was "Ingredients: Tobacco", but was only available in pouches.
It was actually quite a different experience than TM cigs from the store.
Get this: they are now changing the labels on tobacco to say they might cause bloodclots, heart attacks and strokes!
And why wouldn't they - they blamed tobacco for lung cancer even though it was mostly caused by long lived fall-out from the high altitude nuke testing conducted in the 50's and 60's Those cancers were waning so they brought in smoking restrictions so they could claim credit for it. (its a pet theory of mine)
American Spirit is a brand without the additives. I have been interested in maybe growing tobacco myself but didn't get very far toward actually doing it.
Early on in covid, it was noted that smokers were protected - being under-represented in the stats. And allegedly it is helpful for schizophrenics to manage their symptoms and give a little control of mental state/suppress unwanted thoughts.
I read somewhere back in 2020 that covid was specifically designed to harm male chinese smokers the worst, because thats the majority population in wuhan
I remember that story but perceived it as a counter-narrative to the fact that nicotene users were underrepresented in stats.
There is also a massive difference between hot cured and cold cured tobacco leaves. Virtually the only country that allows hot cured tobacco is the US. All other countries banned it because hot curing causes carcinogens to form. That is why I never smoke domestically grown cigars. I stick to imported, which is not difficult as almost all fine cigars are imported.
My overarching theory, as pointed out in my original post you mentioned, is that this was the start of the "dumbing down" of the west. It's still moderately acceptable to smoke in public in most eastern countries. But it's all been vilified in the west. So now, we're all losing out on the neurological benefits of nicotine.
As some other people pointed out in my post, the rise of vaping throws a wrench in this entire narrative. Vaping has ALL the benefits of smoking, without any of the drawbacks, but it also has the added benefit of actually clearing out your lungs and sinuses of any congestion you may have via the literal super heated water vapor you're breathing in.
Someone else mentioned the Tobacco Master Settlement, which is basically one of the largest ponzi schemes in the world. Big Tobacco companies pay states for the harm inflicted to smokers in their states, and the states have been borrowing against these fund for decades to the point they've spent all of this money years in advance. So there's the corrupt financial incentive as well, at least in the USA.
Overall, I'm utterly convinced this is just yet another cabal tactic to manipulate our health for their social and financial benefit.
In Montreal, there are (were?) a number of tobacco companies, the factories at one point would have tours of the facilities because they took pride in their production process.
Over time they started adding more additives, flavors, and other chemicals and so there would be the vats with tobacco and a vat of the combined chemicals to be mixed in.
This continued until the vats of chemicals grew larger than the tobacco and people started to question their process. Rather than change the process, the company just stopped offering tours of the facility.
Export a is awsome
I like tobacco as a poor man, it suppresses appetite. Don't starve frens, smoke
Organic veggies.. how is charcoal bad for you which is what Burnt food is... they don’t want you wood smoking your meat cause it kills the parasites.
American Spirit cigarettes made by Reynolds. If I am not mistaken, Reynolds is owned by the cabal of the Payseurs.
