Of course they did. They can't hide behind OSHA anymore. Any private employer forcing vaccination is now liable for any harmful effects. Not to mention employers inquiring about health status of employees violates HIPAA.
Lo and behold they finally sent a retraction, although they called it a “suspension”.
One line in the email that caught my eye was the following :
“Information that was collected will remain confidential and will not be used by the Company unless and until it is required to do so by federal, state, or local requirements.”
Good man, don't do it. I went through this same thing back in September, all this stuff about how it's mandatory to upload the status, I refused, turned out all they did was dock my yearly bonus (which I'm not even going to stick around to get because I got a different job starting soon) but it was all bark and not bite. The particulars of your health are NONE of their business.
TE Connectivity has also done the same. Can we just get the OSHA recommendations for masks overturned next. Literally no evidence or study showing any benefit to the masks.
Nothing super explicit on my end, but the CEO of my company just sent out a company-wide email stating that the SCOTUS blocked the clot shot mandates the first thing in the morning. Coupled with an earlier email stating that they will hold off on all clot shot mandate activity until the SCOTUS takes action, it is probably safe to say that they are dropping the mandate and that we are going to treat this as a bad dream.

Retirement Income act? Haven't come across this. How does it tie in?
My bad. HIPAA
Darn. I thought you might have found some more ammo!
Still waiting on my employer to retract theirs. We were supposed to have our status uploaded by tomorrow. I refuse! Not happening!
Remind them what happened yesterday. OSHA cannot fine them. You, however; may have more clout if they try to force you. Lawyers will work pro bono

“Until it is required”???😡

And then you can Sue them if they get their panties in a wad

I hear you
I’m not sure, but I think this whole thing is going to cave in quickly
Matter of time, this entire covid push is going to crumble AT LEAST by March - May is my prediction and we won't hear another peep about it.

Happy Day.
Happy for you.
Isn't it now Xi E?
It's too late. Remember all the corporations what wanted to play a game of medical chicken with their employees.
Well you did it boys. You really won this thing.
I'm sorry I doubted you even if I didn't tell you.
Makes sense; now owned by China.
