Igneous rock has natural cleavage and basaltic structures can easily form that kind of cellular, hexagonal, or columnar formation shape. Look at The Giant's Causeway as another example. The Earth and its massive movements are a force of nature and there is far more information to plausibly try to explain how Devil's Tower formed millions of years ago versus the fictional sounding, non-scientific enigma that is your "old tree" misdirection.

The Jewish Holocaust was real, but it happened two years after the end of WW2, between 1945 and 1947 when ten million German civilians and one million Jewish prisoners starved to death because of (mostly) allied sanctions. The photos of German prison guards burying starved prisoners in mass graves are the centerpiece of every Holocaust museum and History Channel documentary: they are a lie, those photos were taken during the great starvation of 1947.
Why would German prison guards waste the huge effort in digging massive burial pits if they allegedly had massive crematorium infrastructure onsite?
And those prisoners in the mass graves weren't gassed. They clearly starved to death.
And who are liberals so terrified that you'll learn about the Great Starvation of 1947? I think people tend to forget (or not even think about) basic logistics. We take them for granted. You couldn't do that in war time Europe and for a while afterwards while society was rebuilding itself. Europe was a very hungry place in the 40s. The war destroyed the supply lines, took all the manpower (farmers) from the farms, made many of them into minefields or cemeteries, etc, and food takes seasons to grow, harvest, and then produce into bread and consumer goods.
During the war, food was rationed and sent to the military. After the war, food was sent to those who could pay for it. So if you were a political prisoner in a camp, you didn't get good food. It wasn't just the Jews who starved in those camps. Everyone starved in those camps except the guards. And when they were released in '44-'45, no one gave them back their wealth that had been stolen. They were released broke, starving, and with nothing but those rags on their backs. Imagine trying to enter a job market now flooded with returning soldiers, you've got literally nothing, many employers still look at you as vermin after years of social conditioning, and you may or may not remember the skills you had or have an industry to go back to - because all the factories were destroyed in carpet bombing raids during the war. The starving starved more.
I'm writing this carefully, because I'm not trying to lay blame here, only to discuss the reality of war that has been true since time immemorial. The armies come in like locusts and consume/destroy everything. What's left is a wasteland and if your home is in that wasteland, life's hard for a while til you can rebuild it. Read the history of Gen Sherman's scorched earth march to the sea in 1864, or the Ottoman sieges of Kotyn or Vienna where Tatars pillaged the countryside, slaughtered the peasants, raped the women, and stole everything not nailed down.
I question the narrative because I have the narratives of people in my own family who were there. It was different in some key ways from what we were told.
What you said is mostly true, but you neglected to mention the greatest reason that Europe was starving was because of the usury Jewish central bankers who funded both sides of WW2.

All Prisoners of War were released when WW2 ended in 1945, however the legitimate criminals remained incarcerated and most of them were Jewish communists who participated in the failed Jewish German Communist Party (KPD) (the same people who created Antifa in 1930) coup of 1933 and were tried and found guilty of treason.

Read really old history books and compare them with new ones. You can find scanned PDF files of the really old ones on Archive.org, in really large libraries, or in large used book stores.
I have my own personal library of old books, histories, encyclopedias (many full sets), almanacs (almost 200 years old), and more. I also have hundreds of thousands of books downloaded from various parts of the internet over the last 25 years. I have printed out some of the most important of those.

Go to Archive.org, and search for any subject you desire. They have books, magazines, videos, and recordings.
You can also go on Google book search and look for books by subject copyrighted before 1926. But I think most, if not all, of these are also stored on Archive.org.
Archive.org has the books as PDF and as various e-book formats.
Project Gutenburg has tens of thousands of public domain works in plain text format, as well as e-book formats. They started in 1971, before there was even a network to put them on.
