If I were the only passenger on an international flight... you can bet I'd join the Mile High club as a soloist. :>)
You have to take advantage of opportunities like that.

If I were the only passenger on an international flight. You couldn’t drag me onto that plane.
It should be obvious, these big corporations don't give a shit about making money anymore, it's about re-making society.
If I were the only passenger on an international flight....They better let me in the fucking cockpit.
No, they are busy suckling on the tits of the U.S. they are warm and comfortable. They always will be. Remember Thousands Standing Around (TSA) are paid by you.
Airlines make money on the frequent flyer miles they sell. They lose money on flights. They are a business that creates, sells, and is sole owner of their own currency. They are their own central bank of points
The flights are loss leaders to sell points.
Plus air freight
They would have already went under, but government keeps bailing them out
This is the root cause of the empty flights. I don't know enough about how airports and commercial air travel to understand why you have to 'keep the slots warm', but there probably is a reason for it other than just incompetence.
I'm guessing there is a lot of bureaucracy in airports with lots and lots of rules that have to be followed. Bureaucracies frequently lead to inefficiency and pointless results when rules still have to be followed when it doesn't make any sense.
Perhaps they needed the plane and/or the flight crew with the number of unvaccinated they have furloughed from the job.
I haven’t flown in years. Nowadays it is even more undesirable: TSA, delays, filthy cabins, mask mandates, crammed seats, no real meals, barely a beverage service, surly and rude flight attendants, obnoxious parents and children. Should I go on?
Yea flying really is a bear nowadays and everyone trying to cram all their crap overhead.
Let them fucking die.
Let REAL people buy the planes and start competing for REAL customers.
If you're the only one on a flight, do you still have to wear a mask?
Chuckles
Happened to me about 10 yrs ago, except I was not sole passenger- there were 3 of us. I had fallen asleep in the departure area and missed my flight. They told me to come back next day so I did, Freaky to see hundreds of empty seats and crossing the Pacific ocean. One other passenger was a special case fear-of-flying. The other was so far away I had no idea what they were about. I did not check first class, maybe somebody in there. Weird but I was focused on getting to my family so I was just grateful.
Many internal flights make more from hauling cargo, than passengers
Nah. They just get money from govt. as payoff for their cooperation. One big happy fascist family.
Which furthers the theory that they lie about jet fuel consumption.
It’s all points. You should look into it.
They don’t sell flights as profit anymore they sell points to other business that give them away to customers, who then use them for flights.
They are the “Federal reserve” of their own digital currency.
