I have even adopted the "When it's my time, it's my time mentality. If I get cancer, I'm not getting chemo. I do not want to get on a subscription for any kind of medicine. That's how far doctors have ruined my trust with them as of late.
Me neither but a lot of that is watching my mother suffer the extreme effects of chemotherapy and die just months later at 46. F that. I'll go on to heaven, I am not afraid to die.
Good decision. If a person has cancer, does it make sense to get radiated, when we know radiation causes cancer? Does it make sense to take chemicals that cause cancer?
That's always stood out to me as the most absurd way to treat cancer! Like wtf. I always rationalized it as fighting fire with fire, but then again that's kind of a shitty rationalization since spraying a fire with more fire never helps
What you’re describing is a huge part of why libtards are so terrified of Covid. They do not believe in Jesus, or if they do, they have very little faith.
I was never scared of Covid because I believe God will take care of me and my family.
Mental health
Before COVID there were people close to the edge but still doing ok. The government response to COVID pushed everyone closer to the edge, and some people were pushed over the edge. That's maliciousness against people who are in a vulnerable situation.
The children
In addition to the mental health challenges, many kids are getting robbed of their childhood. Also they're suffering more developmental issues, and they're behind on education.
It is my sincere goal to leave this country and this world in a better condition than I found it for the next generation, and the government response to COVID is in direct contrast to that goal.
Except, the education they are getting is shit.
In a way, this was an opportunity.
I have stories related to this, I should do a post just telling my COVID “lockdown” story. What we did to get by, what I learned, things I fell in love with again.
Some of it was shit, that's for sure. I wasn't clear in my original comment, but my intent was to refer to the non-controversial parts of education, like reading, writing, mathematics, etc. School age children have fallen behind previous generations that didn't have to deal with a "pandemic." The truth of it is that online instruction can work for some, but does not work for all.
Which is where parents should have stepped in, but instead spent the “Pandemic” getting drunk and high.

I work with preschool children, and the speech delays are already apparent due to masking and isolation from peers and people in general. LB is correct. We haven't begun to see the negative fall out from the last 2 years.

Nope… if you remember, Trump allowed each state to govern themselves. As it should be. Mississippi never closed. Orleans parish in Louisiana (dem city) is as bad as NY, Jefferson parish borders Orleans and saw more revenue than last year. They never licked down. When you look at the demographics, it was the left cities/states that enforced draconian rules. Why do you think everyone moved south?

This is true, but the only way to fix this is with Nuremburg trials per country. In NZ we need a Royal Commission, completely independent from the government in every way -with Robert Malone chairing the Commission. Our institutions have (and are) been found to be woefully compromised and ineffective - my preference would be for us to copy/paste the US constitution and start from there.

I am over 60. I do not take any daily meds of any kind. If I listened to my obese Dr. or his obese nurse I would be on 3 or 4 prescriptions by now. I am in better shape and more capable of physical labor than the majority of young people. Young people are in serious trouble but can't stop looking at their phones long enough to realize it.
And it will dim in comparison to the damage the DS has done for years worldwide. Isn’t that shocking.
