The state of VA has no authority to block any medication. They're not the FDA.
Agreed! Let's shine a light at this draconian move
Tell that to the people serving time for using medicines like marijuana and extacy. Both were prescribed as medicine before big pharma got them banned.

Keep in mind most of these conservative "news" sites are not reporters. They don't have anyone covering the General Assembly, who has read the bill and followed the debates and votes. They pick up info from other sites, which may or may not have any actual news reporters who are doing real reporting and not propaganda. Not a slam on this site, just keep in mind you may need to check other sources.
The problem is that almost all doctors nationwide will be fired for prescribing Ivermectin. The truth is this bill would have protected them. Clearly, without the protection, doctors aren't willing to give up their entire life, education, and paycheck to prescribe Ivermectin. Without protection, no Ivermectin.
We are witnessing mass murder before our eyes. There will be hell to pay for this.
Me and my wife are both pharmacists. We were both fired for dispensing ivermectin for COVID-19 and refusing to give the experimental vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna). Remember that the next time you hear the chain stores telling you "We stand behind our pharmacists' decisions". Bullshit.
Did you see that Frontline Doctors are starting their own clinics around the country and are looking for medical professionals to hire?
I haven't trusted the chains since I saw what they did to my pharmacist brother, a 10 year plus employee, when he told them he was opening his own pharmacy.
Why are you responding to me with this? I'm not against this bill, I was commenting about being careful to get accurate sources that explain what it's all about.

If we get everyone active and get a GOP majority back in 2023, this bill will pass. Having Winsome Sears presiding and casting tie breaking votes will help but it's not enough with a 21/19 majority for the Dems now.
I do not see how CFP was being inaccurate.
The truth is, without protections, doctors will not prescribe Ivermectin. So the fact of the matter is that democrats in the Virginia Senate have effectively written death warrants to those who need Ivermectin but will not be able to get it.
We can't wait until 2023 to fix this. How many more people might die before then because they cannot get lifesaving drugs such as Ivermectin and HCQ?
I am all in favor of winning elections, but we are in the middle of medical tyranny. Mass murder is an accurate term for what Americans have faced and continue to face.
I HIGHLY suggest watching Senator Ron Johnson's Rumble feed on his hours long session with medical experts on Covid. It's a real mind blower. Most of us have known a lot of this, but he has the best of the best discussing everything in detail, all in one place.

Just what exactly are you doing now to get enough votes to get this bill out of the Senate? I'll be very interested to see what that is because I don't know of any other way to get it passed. There used to be blue dog dems in the GA, but I doubt if there are any now.
You're trying to make this into a fight. You assume I haven't seen Johnson's hearing, don't agree that this is medical tyranny. Wrong on both.
Sorry for any misunderstandings. Not trying to start anything at all. I just felt CFP was accurate in saying the dems blocked Ivermectin from people in need.

They control the media and the vast majority of information flow. Unfortunately these studies will not reach the masses, or if they do it will take years.
