I have a BS BIO. That means in every class above 200 level I had to accurately explain the scientific method until it was ingrained in my brain... it boils down to this;
"There are no final answers in science. There is only the next question."
Scientists are also nerds with zero street smarts. The same personality that is attracted to “Science” is also attracted to Dungeons and Dragons and reading Tolkien appendixes and memorizing every episode of Star Trek. They are not independent thinkers by nature, they are people who like to memorize complex, useless systems of arbitrary knowledge, and they like to submit to collective power. If there were independently-minded scientists, you haven’t heard of them, because the scientific system actually punishes independent and original thinking. So you’ve got these nerdy hall monitor memorizers with their obedience points maxed out getting felated by corporate media and bureaucratic governments that pay all their bills and tell them what “rock stars” they are, and the scientists jump at it because they are still are bitter about being unpopular with girls in high school.
90% of the accomplishments people give to “muh scientists” should actually go to engineers. Engineers DO have street smarts because being an engineer is not theoretical academia like science is. It’s not a D&D fantasy playground. These are the guys who actually have to build and invent shit and if their shit doesn’t work, they get fired. Respect engineers but mock the $cientists as the loser nerds they are.

I've always been told engineers are educated idiots because they have no common sense. But hay what do I know.
