It's West Ukraine Vs Russian speaking East Ukraine (Donbass region) It's being going on for years. Ever since Yanukovich got colour revolutioned (Maidan revolution) and Yatseniuk and then Poroshenko were installed by CIA and Victoria Nuland.
10 000 people died so far at least. Lots of civilians were targeted. Very nasty!
Russia uses its new pipeline to deliver gas to Europe and stops paying Ukraine 3 billion a year.
Ukraine is desperate for the money. Economic collapse is imminent. Their military would be unfunded. Russia would take the Russian speaking east of the Ukraine.
Ukraine applies to join NATO which is unacceptable to Russia - guaranteeing a conflict now while they still have a decent military, and providing a convenient distraction to the Bidens et al in America.
Taking the eastern Ukraine is something they have probably been working on for decades. It would be a "color revolution". Hence the "civil war" narrative.
Most interesting.
If there is a civil war aspect of the situation in Ukraine, then the US would not look good taking sides with the government.
Civil war = regions or factions fighting other regions/factions within a country (e.g., north vs. south in U.S. civil war)
Civil war does not equate to civilians pushing back against the federal govt.
Wish people would stop using the wrong terminology all the time.
I think civil war covers the situation.

A good chunk of the eastern part of the country is Russian.

My biggest question. The companies that bribe American officials are the ones losing here, right?
yep they are all energetic ones Parasites that "manage" Russian gas passing trough Ukraine ...
You reckon Russia can take Ukraine in 48 hours? ;)

Whoa! This is gonna complicate the official narrative!
