First, who ever picked GO Fund Me as the conduit to fund this convoy is a legit idiot, period. You'd have to be living in a cave to not have heard how many times this agency has shut down or denied funding for various groups they didn't agree with.
2nd, everyone who donated needs to request a refund. If they don't refund they need to be sued out of existence because this is nothing more than a scam. They allow millions to accrue in the account and then declare it a radical group so they can confiscate it. That's a criminal enterprise and they need to be held to account. I'd bet the people running that shitshow are embezzling the funds.
They aren’t idiots. If you’ve noticed the last two years that literally every single bad group, organization, business, and government is intentionally being exposed and brought into the light. This is no different. This decision will end gofundme once and for all.
I agree. there are so many ways that doing what GoFundMe did can backfire on them...if everyone who donated said that they wanted binding arbitration and refused to be lumped together the sheer cost could bankrupt the organization. A lawsuit could destroy them because of discovery. if everyone had their credit card and bank card reverse charges it could destroy GoFundMe through return fees charged to GoFundMe through there Creditcard processor.
Maybe it was part of the operational plan to expose them. The movement is well funded and run w/ advanced logistics aka military likely. Same thing will happen in US.
Not everyone is neck deep in Q. They might see facebook pushing shit and just roll their eyes, then check in on their family. Its not the same for them.
GoFundMe might challenge those charge-backs as fraudulent (under the grounds that charge-backs might only be allowed if refunds are not an option), thus tying up your money until after the February 17th deadline (meaning they would have donated it to a 'charity' prior to you getting a chance to asking for a refund).
Apparently arbitration (or maybe lawsuit?) might be an option, which brings a lot of upfront costs to the individual (while incurring costs to GoFundMe as well).

This move is their company ending itself.

100%, that money was given in gratuity, accordingly under common law, gorundme is committing theft.

It's almost like a whole bunch of military recently got dismissed and has a grievance against the current system of government.
Interesting thought.
Also why are truckers using Facebook to organize is beyond me

I'll admit I live in a cave and didn't know about this until I read a gaw comment about this.
Do a Charge back instead of a refund.

That's a possible dis-info campaign, to capture all of the funds (to be donated to "charities") that would have otherwise been refunded.
See Syrinx posts here and here.

Thank you for that info. I will need to check with my bank manager (Trump Patriot) about options here.
If contested and then the window is missed, can we attempt to chargeback again since they will not allow a refund at that time?
Thanks fren!
My pleasure.
This is all dated information, apparently.
They're doing a full refund now, or so they say.
No need for request for refund.
