I’d like to thank whoever referred me ti the site to get certified as a grantwriter. And the person who gave me pointers on my Camp Yesu business plan.
I now have six grant essentials classes under my belt and have two more courses nearly completed.
Next, I will work on those tip I was given for biz plan, then finding the right piece of land.to begin applying for the grants.
Please keep Camp Yesu in prayer for ALL the pieces to come together to get it up and running. Also, when it All comes together, we will need partners and staff……

My heart aches for the people who need this camp. I watched my dad’s struggle for so many years unable to help him and I told God “Here am I, send me.” One morning while I was in prayer over Camp Yesu and asking God to open the doors needed, I felt the Lord say “I will raise up an army from those I send you to rescue”. I am praying and believing for big breakthroughs this year. I have already been put in touch with a couple people who I was told would fit well as potential staff members or at least partners. I am waiting for responses to the information I have shared with them.

Have ou taken time to contact your State BLM office to see if there is still some remaining Land that has not been claimed??
If not, you should, it is ours by Right, and NO the State cannot have it....

The Lands you have paid for can be brought back under the Original Land Grants or Patents.....
Of course it's a Process, and takes time and Financial resources, but yes, it is absolutely doable......

So glad you are being led my our Savior on this path OP. Having done something similar for a decade in my 20s (teaching at risk youth correct principles & why I followed what I believe is a covenant path following Christ) it is a wellspring of growth & love. The lives you change, even if they do not accept Jesus will be incredibly rewarding.

I was just trying to find my original posts to repost and can’t find. Was unable to make in one part as too large a file. I have done alot of editing since and am constantly editing as I see need.
Congrats! I should have done this 20 years ago for a youth project I was passionate about at the time.
I still did a tremendous amount of great work without it, though had I known about all the tax laws & funding available at that time I would have done this & picked up a property for them to work & learn core principles on as an after-school/at risk youth project.

About five years ago God placed upon my heart to start up a residential Christian Camp in a working ranch/homestead style in a mountainous setting on a lake or river that will rescue, house, rehabilitate, witness to, provide Christian education for (K-College and technical skills) and orphanage for Homeless, addicted, abused, enslaved, trafficked, at risk and orphaned young children through mid twenties. This will be for those who need it all across the USA. Rescue missions will also be done as trafficking victims are found. This will require a broad spectrum of Born Again Christian staff members with ill regard for denomination/ rather Bible believing and followers of Christ Jesus.
Alot has happened that has prevented start up until now.

I’m waiting for God to reveal that to me and direct me and in the meantime I am researching real estate under ranches, resorts and campgrounds for sale that are a minimum of 85 acres in the perfect setting. I am making a list and taking in to account what each property has to offer and will compare when I stop finding ones of interest. Currently I have about 20 properties saved.

Yes!! I did. There is natural healing therapy in caring for and training and bonding with animals. Plus the horses will also be used for herding cattle as part of the camp will be a working cattle ranch and as much food as possible will be farm to table self sufficient homestead style.

As staff, partner, planning and development, in what way?
Probably more as staff as I’ve taught and helped people detox. I also grew up in a horse stable/farm environment and love animals. I’m an FAA licensed mechanic and an electronics engineer/tech so I’m great at fixing all kinds of things. I’ve also Preached from a pulpit and am a great speaker…as long as my throat heals I want to continue that. Anything outdoors & self defense I hunt/fish & been through 5 wars/conflicts so survival skills a plus. Development; construction skills bonus. I can be a small partner…retired & have some savings but not wealthy. Edit; YET. I can also teach digital finance as I trade crypto and am pretty good at it.

My husband is retired from Boeing and was formerly a chef and has a business management degree and we ran our own dog resort we built and started with our kids which provided boarding, grooming and daycare for twelve years and the previous decade we were licensed dog breeders. I was our certified groomer for six of the years of our business until my back forced me to give that up as it was pushing me toward my third back surgery for herniated disc and degenerative disc disease. I spent a few years as an in home caregiver with a handful of patients. (Which is where I injured my back while doing transfers) where I was sent to care for a man on hospice before being trained for it. We raised three kids and now help alot to care for our six grandchildren. I have a background in FFA, 4H and showing my goats in the county and community fair. I am a newly professional realistic artist of watercolor and pencil following a thirty some year hobby.
I grew up with an alcoholic and homeless dad which placed the burden on my heart for the homeless and addicted. Many personal experiences and losses have touched my life for wanting to help others as well. When God placed this camp on my heart we closed our business and sold our home and closed our dog business and went to work in a Christian Camp as kitchen and hospitality staff with our son and his then girlfriend whom he later married before she left him a year later due to some serious mental issues she is still having. The camp us where my husband had an aortic dissection I nearly lost him from and circumstances with the directors pulling illegal stunts and falling through on promises in our contract for housing and other things like coverage for overtime and days off forced us to resign. We all really enjoyed working there and serving others there though. I am also a prayer warrior and long to help others and bring them to Christ.
