If you watch the Zapruder film you will see there weren't that many eyes on her. Except for a damn camera which allowed the whole world to witness the event, with suspect numero uno (Jackie) smack dab in the center of the kill frame, and nobody suspects her. Why? Because she's a lady? Because she's good looking and well mannered? Because she "wouldn't do that"?
Look at her behavior during and after the murder. Highly suspect. Very out of place compared to all other people there. Any investigator would red flag it and look further into it.
The secret service agent just behind Jackie, the one who would have witnessed it, Clint's life turned dark afterwards, he became a heavy drinker after the murder, he and Jackie "had a close relationship". The Zapruder film stands the test of time, and the murder still goes "unsolved", because it is a litmus test of public perception. If they can still pass off the JFK murder as something that it wasn't, while having all the evidence available to the public, it means the public can still easily be fooled.
