My pastor said their church attendance is down 30% from before the Covid lock-downs started, and they no longer stream services! My church has moved from 2 services to one, and no sign it will return.
It seems it is actually the young that are not returning to church.
If lower church attendance was the goal of the DS, then mission accomplished. :(
I personally think that pastors who closed their churches on the government's behest are like firemen running away from a fire. Those few that bucked the government, however they did it, are exceptional and deserve their upcoming revival.
Personally (for me and my family), we stopped going to church because our church didn’t fight for religious freedom even though they had billions to fight it. Worse yet, they signed onto the new world order way of doing things including strongly urging members to be vaccinated and discriminating against those who aren’t by having the local leaders state that you don’t “follow the prophet” by not getting the clot shot.
Once they pulled back the curtain and we could see them for what they were, it was necessary to stop.
We are Mormon, and in California - if that helps understand our situation.
sadly.. the "leader" of the church is part of the cabal... "worshipping" in a satanic snake-head temple. is it any wonder that people are turned away??

You should listen to LT - And we know on Rumble if you do not already. His views on church i think says alot. I personally think most churches are out to rip people off. When the pastor drives a nicer car than most people on earth, sends up red flags for me.
This⬆️ I was going to one of the biggest churches in town, Southern Baptist. I’m the type person that usually will talk to a twenty something person like I do an old person. It’s about respect! I had gotten to know this young kid who was in the band. He stopped going (his parents were deep in this church). I saw him outside of church & asked where he had been. He’s the first person to enlighten me on Corporate Church. He said he can’t keep going to a church that worships the pastor. I think he grew up there where as I had only been a couple years. He told me about them rolling down the aisle a brand new John Deere lawn mower during church. A Christmas present for the pastor. I’m in eastern NC, very rural. He moved to Nashville TN, I guess to attempt making it in music. I saw him a year later in the audience on a TV show that came on CMT. I often wonder about him. At least he was smart enough to see it. But I think about him & others that have been raised in church & it’s forced on them. I know people raised in Southern Baptist church by parents that made them attend everything. They don’t return to church. To much of a good thing can backfire!
One should check to see where their denomination's overseas mission donations are really going. I remember reading years ago about one denomination funding a rebel group in some country.
Yeah dude the money goes all over the place. There was a reason so many churches were compliant with the lock downs and shit.
It is important to be discerning as to what is actually being taught and practiced in any church you choose to attend. Just having some kind of "Christian sounding" name is not a guarantee of what is inside.
Yes, there has been an exodus of young people from institutional churches for decades now; this may have just speeded it up for some. See Barna Research materials. Barna.com
There are also home fellowships that are different from institutional churches, though they can have their own set of challenges in other ways. Home fellowships have been growing.
God should not be judged by the weakness and failures of those who say they look to Him, but prayerfully considered.
There are congregations that have grown during this time, however. Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, besides growing in numbers since 2020, announced plans to organize homeschooling with both curriculum and facilities.
My Church lost youth to the world and elderly to heart attacks and other deaths.
I'm 22. Got the death jab twice as a ducking moron, but was blessed by God in His Grace with the "batch that isn't recognized on that data list as recognizably deadly" so here's hoping He'll heal me and keep me safe through the remainder of my life.
Recently returned to Church to work on their AV Team to serve the Lord and His remaining followers at that location. Got Blessed with a beautiful Christ loving submissive Girlfriend, ans find my Faith remaining strong in spite of the pain our church has faced.
Church I've been going to has grown during covid, and I know of one more that has grown even more and it's been pretty vocal against lockdowns.
Lots of people go to church as a sort of social event first so maybe it's good that is exposed. Minor note but when I was looking for a church I found some crazy nice places with coffee bars and smoke machines but the preaching was never convicting and always topical.
More people are praying to God daily, however. I was never much of a practicing Christian and never a church goer. But now I pray daily - if not multiple times a day and have read the Bible. Take heart! Just because you can see people in church, many more prayers are being said. Christianity is growing in China and Iran - both countries that outright outlaw it. FAITH
There are three church buildings near me that are for sale right now. Two of them were thriving before covid. The third has been a church for the nearly 30 years I've lived here and now all three are empty. None were affiliated with major denominations, I don't know if that's a factor. I've never in my life seen a church go out of business before now.
I'll add this. A local Methodist church, one that a few years ago was paying their pastor six figures plus housing - more than the county administrator was being paid, shows now virtually empty pews in their streaming services. They used to be packed in like sardines.
One more thing, maybe some churchgoers are, like me, offended that their churches are raking in money for aiding in the flood of illegal aliens.
Where I am, it’s slightly up. Donations have held steady.
