In 1866, Whitehead invented the first effective self-propelled torpedo, the eponymous Whitehead torpedo. French and German inventions followed closely, and the term torpedo came to describe self-propelled projectiles that traveled under or on water.
My great grandpa was born in Norway in 1889 and fought in Luxembourg in WW1. I could be making that last part up lol but he was somewhere over there in WW1 ;) I have a pic in his doughboy uni in my front hallway. He died 2 days before we beat the Russians in 1980. He would loved that. Big time hockey fan.
The United States declared war on the German Empire on April 6, 1917, nearly three years after World War I started. A ceasefire and Armistice was declared on November 11, 1918.Before entering the war, the U.S. had remained neutral, though it had been an important supplier to the United Kingdom, France, and the other powers of the Allies of World War I.
There were WMD in Iraq, Hussein flew them out to Syria on modified jumbo jetliners prior to the invasion. One of his top military brass defected and wrote a book detailing the config of the jets, how they were loaded, etc.
IIRC we even found some things that were left behind: Mountains of potassium nitrate stored with gas masks, hazmat suits as one would need to do a chem attack...even a little VX, was it? Sorry don't have sauce now
9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB
Remember the Maine was a FF and fake news hit job.
The Titanic never hit an iceberg it was torpedoed.
Um, were torpedoes even invented yet at that time

Hmm, interesting. Didn’t know that. That’s the year my Great Grandfather was born in Luxembourg

Grandpa only saw one battle. I was only 16 when he died and the info I have came from his daughter (my grandma) and my mom.
Yes.
And FDR provoked Japan into Pearl Harbor!
Honestly, U.S. was part of the problem that made Japan into our enemies anyway.
The way we treated them after WW1 was really shit, and I'd have a bunch of bones to pick too.
Doesn't excuse Japan's attack, of course, though one definitely can say we retaliated a little too vigorously.
Commies in the state dept. Forced the Japanese to attack us.
Warfare used to be the top source of income, then Big Pharma came along and said "hold my vaccine!"
They took the babies out of the incubators and threw them on the ground!
There was something much worse than WMDs in Iraq. Saddam had plates necessary to print Federal Reserve notes.
"Russia will not invade Ukraine"
Read that again, tell everyone you know- just to be labeled a nut.
No worries, we're use to it by now. Regardless, they'll claim they knew all along lmao
I've been telling everybody that for the past two weeks. Biden is trying his best to entice Putin and Putin is just laughing at him.

True it was in the darfur? Report after the war.
Media just lied about what it said.
Where can I read more about that Bin Laden assertion? Never heard about that.
Could I get some docos about the real history of these events?
I want to belirve, but
