I never cared for celebrity deaths. Especially as I got older and realized how fake a lot of them are. Thankfully the veil is lifting and more people are realizing that these actors are nothing more than moneys dancing a dance. Beyond that they are typically empty and hollow...
But one man was not. One man was always the real deal. If you want to educate your normie friends on why Rush Limbaugh meant so much to you, have them watch the Family Guy episode "Excellence in Broadcasting". Rush was more than a guy on the radio. He was a surrogate friend that you could pretty much count on to be on the air across the land at the exact same time Monday through Friday.
But he was so much more than just another voice on the radio. Yes he was a pioneer and more or less responsible for the modern day podcast, but the humanitarian work he did spoke volumes to his character, but I think what really touched my heart was how much he actually tried to be there for his fans. It's impossible to keep up with 30 million people, but man did he try. Every story about meeting him was apparently always positive and the man never put on an act.
Though he had a few more shows after, I felt his Christmas closer in 2020 was his "good-bye"...

I still haven't listened to his actual last show and... not sure if I ever want to, honestly. I really miss him and wish we had him. However this community has done well in honoring his legacy in that we continue to push and share information for the truth. He may have left us too soon, but he didn't leave us unprepared. Though that void in our hearts may not be fulfilled any time soon... we know one Day it will.
Well then I have good news for you; Rush isn't dead!
Hes not alive, friend. Im sorry but i noticed something was off about him long before his cancer announcement. The guy was in physical decline for a while unfortunately. His death was real and very sad, not every high profile person fakes their death.
Agreed. A close friend & I were talking about his mortality prior to him revealing end stage cancer. We'd both gotten our arms around him possibly being in the deadpool. Not sure if he'd hinted at it before admission or not; I think he must have. So when he did finally announce it was not the shock it could have been. That award goes to Andrew Breitbart, still can't believe it.
What tipped me off about Rush was when he started taking more days off. A guest host would say hed be back the next day but he wouldnt. When he came back he would say how much he missed being on air with us. Those words were always so genuine, no mistaking that tone of voice. He wouldnt have gotten that emotional from missing work because of delayed flights or meetings or something. Unfortunately i wasnt into breitbart, my political awareness had not reached him yet. I was apolitical or left leaning up until my Dad got me listening to Rush in 2015. RIP legendary limbaugh
That might have been what tipped us as well. I don't dwell on it but now think our discussion was along the lines of "I think he's saying goodbye without saying goodbye." Breitbart was a massive gut punch and it stunk as an op. As it happening during Obama's 1st term you knew it anything pointing to that would be covered up.
I truly hope this. I too miss him daily, every day at 12:00. I now turn on his replacements as background noise as I work but it’s not the same (of course!) I do notice that they still use Rush’s music intro and I wonder why. I’m hoping that they are just keeping the radio spot for his triumphant return.
If anyone wonders why we still hope he is still alive - the Decoding Symbols site has a decode about him. He got cancer the same day that Coronavirus officially arrived in the US and some other weirdness.
I listened to Snerdley’s podcasts about Rush while driving last summer, sobbing at times.
So many great memories since 1992 for me. Rush was my lifeline during the Obama years. 15 hours of hope weekly during a really dark time.
Part of me wonders how they didn’t blackmail and coopt him like everyone else. I also got the feeling that he was part of the Plan based on how he interacted with listeners and how he said (or didn’t say) some things
Those two guys are really good, but I always find it interesting that it takes two of our best to replace one Rush. He was that great.
I'm glad they kept everything.
yea, he probably is still alive, got decoded here :) https://decodingsymbols.wordpress.com/2022/01/06/great-awakening-fake-deaths-james-webb-scope-brady-material/
As a believer in Jesus In a very real way you are right! He had his 'come to Jesus' moment late in life, but I believe Rush is in a better place. Revelation describes this place as under the throne and Hebrews describes it as a great cloud of witnesses. His body may be dead , but his spirit is very much alive!
