I know many here don't trust the hospitals anyway, that they will kill you for your organs. And that may be right. But, why would any of us pure bloods ever donate our organs when they don't allow us to receive organs. Let's break the system.

Last time I renewed my license I removed myself from the donor list...
Same, read too many stories of people being pronounced braindead who fully recovered. They will cut you apart and sell chunks off as quickly as possible and it's a shame for those who really need transplants from people who actually died.
Yup and I've read that they do not put you on anesthesia or pain meds when they are cutting you up for your organs.
Yep... Exactly...
Another thing to consider... If you are on MyChart with your doctor's office, you might wish to remove some personal 'unecessary intrusive' information. You can provide 'as needed' or 'if needed'.
Good idea.
I just did this too.
Not only because of the unvaxxed/vaxxed issue.
I read that when you are an organ donor they are more than likely to let you slip than try to revive you.
Also, that when they take organs, they do not use anesthesia, so even if you are in a coma or out, the brain will register the pain of having your organs harvested.
No thanks.
I also read that blood needs to be pumping in order for them to be harvested
Holy shit! That in and of itself is more than enough for me to pull my name from the registry! I'm getting on this asap.
I wish I had saved the article location. It was an article about the process of organ donation and things that most people don't even consider about the process.
True or not, I am not interested in taking the chance of being the subject of some horrific painful death because I was listed as a donor.
I have done the same but I know in my gut that they are not going to care whether I am a registered donor if I am in the hospital, unvaxed and someone important needs my parts that they wont think twice about "expiring" me, harvesting me and paying a settlement to my family for their mistake.
good, was never on it myself.
If it's not critical i'm sure they just get organs from the uyghur organ farms in China
If you're older than 45, your organs won't be going to save another life, but for medical experiments. The organ donors the hospitals really want are from the young ones.
That's strange tho because don't you choose to become a donor or not when you get your license to drive? Guess they just ask the families of minors if they'll sign over their half alive child to the medical industrial complex?
They don't have to ask parental permission. 20 years ago, a nine-year-old child was sent from a car accident as a Jane Doe "barely alive" at the time and the hospital across town harvested all of her organs without any parental permission. Parents did not pursue legal action at the time but they should have. They were too traumatized to do anything they should have done. The hospital said she was actively dying so the decision was made quickly. We'll never know who got her organs.
Well that's absolutely terrifying.
And you dont get paid for them
Most donations don't get you a payday. They do tend to be opt in tho ugh.
Brilliant use of their own weapons against them! A 'to the death' form of boycott.
Well done.
Same here. I removed my OD status upon renewal. Had it nearly all my life. I'm thinking in the very near future, our un-jabbed livers are going to be worth their weight in gold.
I just removed myself from the list in my state. Thank you for this post.
Will go to change status from donor to "fuck you" tomorrow.
I’ve done the same
I'm with you and will do the same. Either the administrative state is already growing organs they need, or they are already forcibly harvesting organs from missing children. Or maybe the administrative state expects us to continue to adhere to the Christian doctrine of being chartable? Everything they do back fires on these assholes.
I need to do the same. I think 2020 I added myself because my friends husband needs a kidney. Meanwhile they told him if he didn't het jabbed he would be removed from the transplant list.
yes, the game is being rigged, so I choose not to play. :) It was fairly easy to remove. I even ordered a duplicate license so the heart would be off, even though the registry is separate.
Oh thank you. I will change my status when I update my car registration. So glad it is easy and doesn't require a trip to the dmv.
To be clear, “they” aren’t the ones you’re depriving of anything when you remove yourself from the list.
“They” don’t get money from your organs or anything. “They” just take it from you and put it in someone else. The person who needed your kidney is the one you’re screwing.
Yes because hospitals do procedures for free and never over bill insurance/gov. You're screwing both lol.
Eh, that's on the assumption that they're really hurting for work. They aren't.
There are plenty of transplants that need to be performed. There's just not enough organs to go around to everyone who needs them.
So if you don't donate your kidney? Then the patient doesn't get a kidney. But the hospital doesn't lose money. They just schedule a different surgery for that time slot. There's always another transplant they can do.
So yeah, the only person who loses is the patient. The hospital is still paying its bills regardless of which patient they schedule for that day or where the liver they're transplanting is coming from.
absolutely untrue, hospitals want every dime they can squeeze from us. If there are 10% less organs available it does effect them, they cannot operate on the patient if they don't have an organ. Of course there are other operations, but they still lost the ones they cannot perform, it does effect their bottom line.
Regardless if I am unfit to receive an organ I certainly will never donate my organs to someone that is considered more worthy than myself.
Of course they can operate on a patient without an organ. They just do a different procedure to try to solve the problem until they get an organ.
Instead of getting the organ and fixing the problem, they can treat the patient over and over again. For years. Until eventually an organ shows up and they are able to fix the problem.
And they can charge the patient for that intensive care and medication for years until they eventually die.
So if that’s what you’re trying to do, then do the organ donation. Ultimately doctors get less money for fixing the kidney problem with a transplant than they do with lifelong dialysis treatments waiting for a kidney.
Peiple die when they dont get a heart transplant. Unvaxxed will die due to these needless rules. You can donate as many organs as you want.
Many here agree and have pulled their name from the donor list. If enough peiole do this it will make a difference and will change these insane rules.
They all make money off your death ,everything and everyone makes money except your heirs and as a bonus your alive while they chop that paycheck out of you.donating organs was foolish before the vaccination discrimination began.
and the hospital that doesn't get a kidney, they get screwed out of the money and they are the ones making the rules. If I needed an organ the hospital wouldn't allow me to be on the list, so if the general public gives a shit they need to fight for us pure bloods or they lose out too.
I will suggest that labeling yourself with terminology like "pure blood" that has been used almost exclusively by history's (and fiction's) villains might be partly responsible for the public's hesitance to "give a shit" about you.
The optics do matter, and using a term like "pure blood" honestly seems to me like a term that was injected into this movement by an opposing force to make you play right into the narrative. I have a really hard time believing that was a term submitted into the language here by anyone you'd consider a friend.
I don't give a shit about what offends people, I really don't. They are offended by the existence of freedom. If you are concerned about terminology you are in the wrong place. Happy to debate substance, couldn't give a shit about political correctness.
I’m not offended whatsoever. But you either want people to give a shit about you, or you don’t give a shit about what people think about you. You can’t demand people take your position seriously with your middle finger also pointed at them.
I dont expect people to give a shit about me personally, but they will give a shit if enough people boycott organ donation. I am done trying to convince anyone, just drawing up battle lines. We are headed to a dark place and the average moron has no clue.
Not true. Not true at all. Organ harvesting is a big business and lots of money is made. You actually believe the costs involved to harvest, transport, and implant an organ is also donated? End to end, it's hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that goes into people pockets. Families that donate should be told the truth and compensated unless the cost of every step of the donation process, materials, extraction, transporting, surgical procedures, implanting, etc. is 100% donated. And you know that's not the case.
I am looking for a good condition Hammond B-3 Organ if you want to donate yours.
had to look up what it was, not a musician, can't help you there, :)
(Not really expecting any takers, just trying to inject a little humor in Organ Donation).
I've never been on the donor list, they're mine anyway.
You may be automatically enrolled unless you opt out
Actually, I have heard now from several doctors that the organs must be harvested while the donor is alive. Meaning, they cannot accept organs removed after the host dies. Donors are usually those in a vegetative state, and are harvested before a family decides to terminate life support.
Now this is just some recent information I've heard from supposed doctors, so not sure how accurate it is. But it brings the practice into question and if you think of it, the medical community has never disclosed to people who sign up as donors the process involved for how your organs might be harvested. They don't disclose the costs involved, who pays for them, and who profits and how much. Based on these facts, it seems as though the donor industry has something to hide.
My uncle got a liver and a kidney throughout his life because of some serious chronic health issues he faced. He was nothing more than a farmer. The organs he received extended his life by about 25 years, and I'm always very grateful for that time, and for the organ donations that allowed him to live much much longer than he ever would have otherwise. The organs go to normal people who are sick. The organ transplant boards have incredibly huge hurdles if not outright no answers to people who have substance abuse issues, and they take those things incredibly seriously.
