Yes, it was. We've gone too far down the road to now think we are standing on thin air. I am surprised you haven't seen the many nuclear test films, impossible to produce with conventional explosives.
I've worked most of my career in strategic defense. Nuclear weapons are real. I worked at a nuclear target. My mentors worked in nuclear weapon delivery system development and production (B-52, B-2, Minuteman, SRAM, ALCM). Frankly, to say that this is all imaginary and fraudulent is revolting. If you disbelieve in reality, you have a serious mental problem---or are incredibly ignorant.
Round (spherical) earth can be objectively SEEN. It's been proven for thousands of years. Hell, even the horizon viewed from the shore is curved. The flat earth people are just being willfully stupid.
Viruses are invisible. Like atoms. But we acknowledge their existence.
When I am in a discussion and the other party gets emotional and starts throwing accusations I just stop right there. You can't rely on what they say because you know it is coming from somewhere else other than logical argument.
I have a friend who is very into aviation and planespotting. I said to him once that there is considerable evidence that the Apollo moon landings were faked. He went crazy, red in the face and shouting at me that it could not possibly be true. No attempt to debunk my argument. I unintentionally hit him in a sensitive spot by undermining his deep belief in man's ability to achieve flight and conquer space frontiers.
Too bad. Your problem is that the Moon flights were real. They brought back samples of the Moon and photographic evidence of having been there, not to mention personal testimony. You can't debunk what is real. The reality stands. The idea that it was all faked is fantasy. Fantasies can't be "debunked" because there is nothing to debunk. You would have to debunk the Moon flights---but you can't make evidence and testimony go away.
If you have questions, you should ask them and get the answers. The so-called "evidence" of fakery is simple ignorance of what is being seen. Go to the remaining Saturn V vehicle and prove it is a fake. They only launched them multiple times. I can try to answer your questions, but you are somewhat obligated to accept the answers. Otherwise, you put yourself beyond rational discourse.
The problem is, how do we know what is real? Film can be created. I didn’t experience it (assuming you can trust what you see, that it’s not a ‘trick’). I was not involved. I say the same thing for viruses, dinosaurs, atoms, etc. I’m not saying they’re all fake - but I’m saying that I have to rely on others’ word because I have no lived experience to help out (and reading it in a textbook or watching an old film is not lived experience).
The point is, I question it. The more I learn the less I know.
If you go down the road of radical skepticism, you have no place to stand. How do you know that ANY answer you receive is true? You don't. You have no way to obtain the truth, because you have denied that truth can be discerned. Good luck with that. You think you are sophisticated and penetrating---and all you are is completely ignorant.
Meanwhile, you can pay attention to those who have been involved in the field. Artifacts from the bomb destruction are real (I have some). Witness testimony is real. The film is real---prove it isn't. Go ahead, question whether a .45 caliber bullet can kill you. Stand in front of someone and take a shot, Put your life where your mouth is. Questions are fine, but you have to stand by the answers.
If all that history was correct conveyed you may be right. But was it?

Kinda like flat earthers and those that don't believe in viruses.

I've heard some pretty cogent and impassioned arguments on both topics from friends, but I'm going to need something more convincing.
Amen.
