I don't think I have seen ANY original footage of russian hostilities in ukraine. You see things attributed to them, but nothing direct.
Now, even russia says they are there and performing military operations. So I am not suggesting they are not. Just interesting there is no direct video evidence of it.
99% of the video of seen of direct combat is from miles off watching tracers fly through the air. For all we know that could be staged. They could be on the radio talking to each other making sure no one gets hit etc etc. The rest is just pictures of burnt vehicles... mostly armored SUV/HUMV type stuff.
It is sort of strange that for such a large fight we have yet to see much solid footage of real fighting. Either they are scared to actually engage each other or something else is going on.

This guy talks about criminals being given weapons and having shootouts. That might explain the footage of people shooting at each other at night... tracers etc. Give a couple of belt fed machine-guns to criminal outfits and they go and shoot the place up but hardly hit any people.
Just my thought: with today's access to cell phone video and media /internet /current events, neither side wants to have footage of them committing any atrocities?

Mil ops dont always mean conflict with weapons and equipment. Heck, even if RUS and UKR militaries were working together to compile all the dirt they have on world traitors, it would still be a military operation.
