Seems so. I find it hard to believe that this movement, which promotes critical thinking, has attracted scores of people who cannot use a single brain cell to the point where they resort to the most baseless and random conspiracy theories (clones, aliens, lizard people, time travel, intergalactic technology). Fucking reeks of glowie infiltration to make us look bad. If OP is being genuine, then they must be too young to realize that camcorders are a thing, and that most tourists carried one around when visiting NY. Heck, I remember my dad would take his camcorder whenever we would so much as go to the park and record home videos. Many of them looked and sounded better than this 9/11 footage. It's not rocket science, people.
The most annoying thing is that it takes a 5 second search to see the camera technology we had back then (such as the d1x) and compare it to their phone's model.
We weren't taking 4K videos but certainly this quality on dedicated hardware.
Yeah what I find hilarious is that some people are talking about how it's impossible for anyone to take 4K quality videos with their "cell phone" in 2001 and I'm sitting here thinking, "Uhhh this video is CLEARLY not in 4K and it's clearly not shot on a cell phone so wtf...?" The amount of glowfags on this forum is insane. But I guess it means GAW is doing something right if it's attracting this many infiltrators.
Sadly they'll be the ones to call us shills because they have no proper response when they're so easily verifiably wrong, just watch.
Not even saying this video is legit either, but all the reasons people have been given (omg impossible video quality! -- by the way, cameras were capable of HD in 2002 -- omg audio quality! -- by the way, some of the best headphones and indeed some microphones are from the 80s/90s still used today, and still audiophile grade -- omg how did he know to turn the camera there! -- as if our eyes and ears are centered where the camera is).
It's tiresome. All this wrapped up in allowing a Reddit cultist run around here muddying discussion, while other people doing less aren't.
Another very dumb comment I've seen is - "How did he know the tower was going to be hit? How could he possibly have started recording out of nowhere!" which just blows my mind considering the tower has ALREADY BEEN HIT before the camera turns on, thereby giving him a fucking reason to turn the camera on and start recording in the first place. You'd have to be blind not to notice all the smoke coming from the tower. He was recording the aftermath of the first plane. He managed to record when the SECOND plane hit, which happened minutes after.
I got 8mm cameras when my kids were young and now have hundreds of hours of video, much I haven't even seen! My plan is to some day view them all and take notes, but I don't have a way to play them now because the power supply to the camera, which is also the player, is missing :)
"9/11 Great American Psy-Opera" which shows clearly how they fucked up a mask layer and the CGI plane's nose accidently popped out of the far side of the building unharmed isn't real either. The magic plane somehow made it through 100 steel columns and popped out the other side.
So? Both can be true. I'm of the firm belief that the towers went down because of controlled demolition. The building was cleared out a week or so before 9/11 and a group of people went down into the building's basement for some reason (planting explosives most likely). So it's bombs that brought down the building for sure, but it doesn't mean that planes didn't still hit it. They could've remote controlled a plane to ram into it for all we know, that's definitely possible.

With that being said, the fact this guy sat on this footage for over 20 years now is impossible to believe.
